Melodramatic Poem

31 2 2

It cascaded to the ground,
I let out a gasp.
The sight of it falling,
Made my voice rasp.

A magic wand,
Of expression and feeling,
My feeling now,
Is rather unappealing.

It struck the cold, unforgiving floor,
With a heart wrenching noise.
My companion that wrote my secrets,
I soon lost my poise.

Now my eyes,
Were filled with fear,
Along with the pen,
Fell a single cold tear.
