Chapter Nine

Kaleigh

"Woah woah" Niall chuckles into my neck

"Why'd you leave all the sudden?" Harry coughs

I roll my eyes avoiding his question "Why do you care?"

"I don't" He snarls

"How'd you find me?" I turn my gaze to Niall

"We'll you said you were going to the store and this is the nearest one" I pull a lop sided grin to my face

"We should get back home, this weather is crazy" Harry adds

"I'll drive Kaleigh back home, you guys can ride together" Malik put his hand on the small of my back gesturing me to the passenger side. I look at the guys to see an angered Harry and a smiling Niall. On our way home Malik and I made simple conversation which consists of chuckles every so often.

"Hey, I'm not trying to pry anything out of you but do you um... do you like me..? Like more than a friend?" I could hear the nervousness in his voice

"I don't know.." I feel guilt trailing in my stomach

"Do you like Niall..? Or Harry..?" I look into Malik's brown eyes seeing the answer he wants me to say

"I really don't know" I quickly get out of the car seeing all the teens scattered out doing various things. Suddenly I feel a pair of hands pull me back as I turn to see Louis.

"Oh h-hey Louis" I regain my balance

"Hey, I was wondering if you knew where your brother was?"

"Nope. I just got here" I wave and turn towards the house racing to my room as I see Harry shadowing a tiny figure. He leans in and suddenly all you see is too bodies intwined with there lips glued to each other.

"Your baby mama wouldn't like that" I coughed out while walking past him letting a snicker escape my mouth. As I'm farther away I look back to see the girl with a disgusted look.

What a pig .

I walk out onto the front porch as I hear my name being called. I look over to see Malik sitting on a swing.

"Hey" I stick my hands in my pockets

"Can we talk?" I nod signalizing him to keep going. "About earlier... I just wanted to say I'm sorry" I felt my heart go warm

"I accept your apology, but I'm sorry for acting the way I did"

"I'm your brothers best friend, it won't be easy, but I've decided to move on.. Your beautiful, smart, funny, and a wonderful girl, but I see the way you look at Niall and Harry... I just believe that it would be better for everyone if I tried to stop having feelings for you.." tears were pricking at my eyes as I hugged him tight as though I'd never see him again.

"Your an amazing person and you deserve the world" I whisper

Harry

I threw on my swimming shorts and went to head out the door as I saw Kaleigh and Malik pretty much swallowing each other in a hug. I wanted to tare them apart and punch Malik in the face.

She doesn't like you. You don't like her. She's just some random girl who happens to be everywhere you go.

I shook my head and kept walking to the door ignoring there presence on the porch. I slammed the door loudly making it known that I was there just to interrupt the hug fest.

"Damn, could you slam the door any harder" Kaleigh throws her hands up

"Didn't know you were the door police" I roll my eyes walking towards the lake

The lake was barley occupied besides a couple across the yard. I dove in, feeling the cool water take over the heat that just exposed my skin.

Kaleigh

I made my way to my room which happened to be at the other end of the house. I passed Hillary's room hearing her voice sound irritated.

This isn't nosey... It's bordem

I got closer, putting my ear on the door as I heard a muffled conversation

"I know, but how am I suppose to say that?"

"I can't just be like oh yea by the way I'm not pregnant and I just did it because I'm a selfish bitch"

My eyes widened thinking of the lie that could possibly ruin Harry. I heard the conversation end and pushed open the door to see Hillary's annoyed face.

"What do you want?" She rolls her eyes

"So your not pregnant" A smirk pulls on my face as my arms cross

"W-what are you talking a-about?" You could see fear take over her eyes

"I heard your conversation on the phone"

She huffed "okay. Fine. What are you gonna do now? Tell everyone and make me look like a big douchebag?" I chuckled shaking my head

"Wait, your not?" She questions

"Nah, that's for you to do" I smile

"What if I don't do it?" She raises her eyebrows

"What if I expose you?" I grin

I walked downstairs entering the dinning room when my eyes set on Hillary . I smirked at her signaling her to tell Harry the truth.

"Harry I need to speak to you" Hillary motions him towards the living room

As Harry walked away I felt a hand on my shoulder revealing to be Niall "Ready to go on our date?"

"I sure am" I heard footsteps coming into the doorway to see Harry slightly frowning and tears in Hillary's eyes.

"What happened?" Zayn questions looking at them

"Uh well. She lost the baby" Harry says messing with his hands

"You liar!" I can feel my body start to heat up

"What are you talking about?" Hillary looks at me with fake saddened eyes

"You didn't loose anything! You dirty liar!" I scream looking over to see everyone's eyes widen

"Calm down." Niall pulls me toward him

"How can you be so jealous of someone that you believe that they would fake a pregnancy?" Harry says with harsh eyes

"She is faking it!" I gulp

"Your such a fucked up person" Harry screams at me

"Excus-" I was cut off

"Don't ever say that to my sister again" I see Harry fall to the ground after Blake knocked the wind out of him. Before I knew it my feet carried me outside, I sat in my car trying to relax from all the tension. As I closed my eyes I saw previous moments play back into my head as tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I'm never helping anyone again. Screw them.
