EMMIE Smith was never one of those people who ever got paranoid. Never one to watch over her shoulder, but after receiving that first couple of messages, she couldn't help feeling like she was being watched.

Of the top of her head, she couldn't think of anyone who would randomly text her on an unknown number? A prank maybe? Wrong number? At this point the possibilities were endless. It was clearly a guy, that much she gathered, but she wasn't close to any boys, just her best friend, Sophie.

Every lecture she sat in, she could feel eyes boring into the back of her head, but whenever she looked up from her work, it was as if she had completely imagined it. Not one person was looking at her.

But now, thanks to those strange text messages, paranoia was her new best friend.
