Are you a book nerd or thinking about becoming one? Maybe you just enjoy reading about the struggles of a bookworm. If so, this book is for you. It's just a light fun read of all things book related.
Oh, the woes of a book reader. There are so many benefits to reading, but there is also the down sides too. The bane of every book nerd's existance- Book Hangovers. They are the worst! You know what I mean. When you read a book so good your mind can't and won't leave it because no other book will ever be good enough. You can reread the book over and over again, but nothing will change the fact that the book or series is over. You can't magically produce more books- though how awesome would that be? I want that superpower.

Eventually you will have to move on...as soon as your mind and body allows. It can often be a time consuming process. One that will make you doubt yourself as a book nerd because after this period comes the dreaded reading slump. They often go hand in hand. They are cruel best friends.

Well, neither do we. It's the worst thing to happen to a book nerd, second to all of their books being destroyed. *Shivers*
So you end up not reading for a while. It happens and there isn't a lot you can do about it. You cling to Netflix or the internet and you forget books exist. Just understand that this is only temporary. Don't let it get out of hand. Continue to pick up books and read again. Try everyday if you must. Just don't give up! You will get your bookish life back together again. You will!
Has this happened to you? How long did it take to recover?
