PUTTING HORSES DOWN
Can I just say, it fucking sucks when you have a 33 year old mare that still runs like a bat outta hell, but you have to put your (technically 10) year old pleasure mare down because of a fucking leg injury?! It wouldn't be so bad if it was something that could heal with time, but it's an injury that occurs around 3 years old & the only way to fix it is with a $30,000 surgery that has a .01% chance of being successful. I can't even get a fucking embryo out of her, because it's fucking hereditary! I just wish I could do something besides put her down this weekend...
