Today was the day. The finals. Shikamaru said good bye as always and left for school. An hour later Mikashi left for her tournament. Mikashi signed in and was told to wait. Soon her opponent showed up the match was about to begin. Mika took her bear out and set it beside her.
"So you're the famous Mikashi Nara I've been hearing about. You would have thought that a little kid would make it this far. "
-at the academy-
Shikamaru was about take his nap when the teacher walked in.
"Hello class. I hope you enjoy your -"
Shikamaru shot up.
"What day is it?"
"Shiksmaru?"
"Sensai, what day is it?"
"It's Friday"
Shikamaru smiled and jumped out of his seat.
"Today's the day. Choji! It's today!"
"Today's the- Mikashi's finals. "
"Shikamaru, Choji "
Soon the whole was talking and running out of the class.
-at the tournament-
"If the players are ready you may-"
"Wait!"
Everyone looked up to find the Hokage walking up to the players.
"Hokage?"
"I came to watch you dear. *you should always have you rook*"
"Alright. As I was saying if both play-"
"Troublesome child"
Mikashi smiled. "Shikamaru!" She ran to her brother.
"You made me run you troublesome child."
"Do you need something"
"Well every queen needs her king doesn't she. "
"Don't forget her knight!"
"Or her bishop"
"And leave out the pawns"
Mikashi looked behind her brother to find his whole class had showed up.
"*sigh* Is that all. If the players are ready they may begin."
Mikashi sat in her brothers lap as she started the game.
