Shikamaru and Mikashi were playing shogi in Shaika's room when Mika jumped up from her spot.
"Mimi?"
She ran out of the room and down the hall. Turning the corner Mika smiled.
"Hokage!"
"Mikashi!"
Mika jumped into the old man's arms.
"Mimi don't run off like that. Oh, lord Hokage, sup?"
"Shikamaru! Show some respect! And Mikashi, I raised you better!"
Mikashi stood by Shikamaru wrapped her arms around his waist.
"What brings you here Hokage?"
"Ah, yes. I want Mikashi here to join the academy. "
"Lord, you must be mistaken. Mikashi is only five and she's mute."
"Miss. Nara you daughter can speak very well and she's quite the strategist. She won the Shogi tournament after all"
"What do you mean, sir? Our little Mikashi has never left the house."
"She's been playing shogi with me every Friday for months now"
The three adults looked over at Mika who hid behind her brother. Then she ran off and brought back her medal. Placing it on the table she stood back and looked up at her brother. Shikamaru sighed nodding.
Mikashi took and breath. "Shadow clone jitsu."
Beside her she showed up.
"Well I'll be"
The Hokage burst out laughing.
"That certainly is a new way to take the saying 'to fool your enemies you must first fool you friends'"
The other Mikashi left in a cloud of smoke.
