I know no one cares but I fainted in the middle of gym when I was writing this chapter and had a bloody nose so honestly if this sucks I feel no shame.

Five times Mal had been trying to get anything, something, out of the younger boy. But none of her plans worked!

The first time, it had been during lunch. She and the rest of the gang knew that he no longer went to lunch, instead he sat in the library or went to the forest out behind the Tourney.

She had followed him into the school building, Evie and Jay right behind her as she made sure he knew they weren't coming. And, of course he didn't, he'd continue strutting in those black high heels and never look behind him.

And as he passed into the library, waving over at Queen Belle and Fairy Godmother, the trio would grin, knowing he had no idea. And as they all ran through the threshold, they were all shoved back onto the floor.

"Next time, at least try not to get caught," Brody would snicker, walking through his force field as the three lay there feeling utterly defeated.

The second time is when they had a Spring Ball. Of course, they couldn't get in without dates. And, somehow, Carlos was able to get a date with some from the school that no one knew.

Mal and Evie had gone together, wearing matching dresses with opposite colours. Mal's dark purple and Evie's blue and they smiled the entire time they had gone to Jay's dorm.

Jay was going with Ben, in a totally platonic way so they were all together. Doug even showed up with Jane. He had managed to score the nerdy asset the gang needed, and of course for the mission to work they needed him.

As soon as they entered, they notice everyone's attention on them. And they smiled and waved but of course they were wrong. Carlos came out, spotlight on as he walked down the carpet with his date.

She was blonde with a blue dress, but no one could see past that, only that Carlos was wearing an actual suit and not some shorts. Ben and Audrey came next, but of course hey had been ignored as Carlos and his mystery date were doing their greetings and waves to the students.

"For a hated kid, he's sure got all the attention," Chad muttered over to Evie who barely gave him a glance as Mal smacked the back of his head.

"So what's our aim tonight?" Ben asked, sitting at a table nearby. Evie pulled out her magic mirror, whispering to it about the plan until she showed them the goal.

"Are you sure kidnapping a student is a good idea?" Jay asked, scratching at the back of his head. His hair was in a neat bun, the kind Carlos liked to see him in.

"We can say it was safety precautions," Mal said, already on the move to work on chatting with Carlos. Except he had slipped away, and the mysterious girl he had been dancing with was no where to be seen.

"Where'd they go?" Evie asked, her words spread out as she turned around to try and find him. "He's got blonde hair and noticeable roots! How can we not find him?"

"Maybe because he doesn't want to be found," Brody stated behind them, hanging upside down by a rope. "Honestly your plans are terrible, Mal, I expected better from you."
