Imagine: saying goodbye to phillip before he leaves for war

You opened your eyes to only see that you where the you where the only one in bed so you rolled over to see that Phillip was outside looking out into the distance while holding a piece of paper so you placed your legs over the edge of the bed picked up his shirt and put it on then walked out, when you got outside you felt the Irish breeze hit your skin so you hugged yourself then walked up to Phillip, wrapped your arms around his chest, rested your head on his back and said

"Come back to bed"

As you said that you let go to only see him turn around so you looked at him to only see that he had a scared look on his face so you placed a hand on his face to only see him close his eyes to take in his touch and to only hear him say

"I got called into war"

As he said that you pulled your hand back and said

"When do you leave"

"Tomorrow at 8"

As he said that you felt tears forming on your eyes so you turned around to only feel him pull you closer so you turned around, wrapped your arms around his neck to only hear him say

"I will come back I promise and when I do I will marry you"

As he said that you smiled and said

"You better"

With that he lifted your head so he can see him so you looked at him to only feel his lips crash with yours so you kissed back to only feel him pick you up so you wrapped your legs around his waist, as you did then he carried you to the bedroom and well you know what happens next.

In the morning
You walked into the train station to only feel Phillip hold your hand tighter so you held his hand tighter to only feel him stop in his path, as he stopped in his path he turned around, put his suitcase on the ground so you walked up to him with tears spilling from your eyes and wrapped your arms around his neck to only feel him hug you tighter and to only hear him say

"Hey I said I will come back so that's what I'm gonna do, don't give up on me"

As he said that you felt the tears fall from your eyes faster so you hugged him tighter then said

"Please don't forget me"

"How can I your the love of my life"

With that you pulled apart to only feel him kiss you so you kissed back but before it could go any further he pulled apart so you looked at him to only see that he was about to cry and that he was scared so you held his hand tightly and said

"I will always love you"

With that he let go of your hand and said

"Never forget me"

With that he walked away so you watched as he did to only feel tears fall faster and to only see him walk on the train and not look back so you turned around and walked back home to only feel the tears fall faster so you walked back home wishing he wasn't going, wishing none of this was happing.

Phillips pov
I watched as she walked away, as the love of my walked away to only feel tears fall from my face so I allowed them because I have no idea if im gonna come back alive or if gonna survive all I know is that I'm scared and that I'm leaving the love of my life.
