You walked in to only hear max say

"Y/N"

As he said that you saw him run up to you so you smiled the bent down and opened your arms for him to only feel him run into them so you picked him up to only hear Aidan say

"Thank you for coming in on so short notice"

"Nah it's ok I love spending time with him"

With that Aidan smiled then walked up to max and said

"Ok so daddy is going into work, now I don't know when I'll be back but I promise you that I will be back"

With that he kissed his head so you smiled to only hear max say

"By dash I love you"

With that Aidan smiled then said

"Not as much as I do"

With that he looked at you and said

"Again thank you and if I'm not home by 10 you can stay the night if you want"

With that you smiled then said

"Ok and thanks"

With that he walked off so you smiled then closed the door to only hear max say

"Will you be my new mummy"

As he said that you looked at him then said

"No, oh no baby I won't be your new mummy I can't be your daddy still loves your old mummy"

As you said that max looked down and said

"I wish you where my new mummy I mean you make daddy smile like he use to when he was with mummy and you make him happy"

As he said that you kissed his tiny little head and said

"Well I will be your new mummy when your daddy ask it but right now me and your daddy are just friends and I'm your babysitter so let's go on the lounge room and start our day, what do you say"

As you said that he smiled then said

"Ok"

With that you kissed his head then walked in the lounge room so you can start your day and so you can try and not think about Aidan.

A few hours later
You tucked max in and kissed his head then begun to walk away but before you could you heard max say

"Can I call you mummy"

As he said that you turned around to see him looking at you so you smiled then said

"I don't think your daddy will allow that"

"But your the only thing I have to a mummy please"

As he said that you kissed his head again then said

"Ok"

With that you got up and walked to the door and opened it to only hear him say

"Goodnight mummy"

With that you smiled then turned around and said

"Goodnight max"

With that you blew him a kiss then closed the door and turned around, when you turned around you saw Aidan walking to the stop of the stairs so you said

"Oh your home"

As you said that he looked at you and smiled then said

"Yea they let me off early today"

With that you began walking down the stairs but when you got up to Aidan you felt his hand on your arm so you looked at him to only hear him say

"Your the best thing that has ever happened to max after his mother died that is and the best thing that has ever happened to me"

As he said that you smiled to only feel him pull you closer so you looked at him to only feel his lips on yours so you wrapped your arms around his neck, as you wrapped your arms around his neck you felt him pick you up so you wrapped your legs around his waist to only feel him take you to his room.

When you got to his room you pulled apart and said

"What about max"

With that he kissed you then said

"He doesn't mind"

With that you kissed him to only feel your back hit the bed and him get on top of you so you pulled him closer and well you know what happens next.
