The Beginning

I wake up and walk to the bathroom to prepare for the gloomy day of school. As I look into the mirrors reflection all I see is a girl that has all the color drained out of her. It's like a classic film that is in black and white and is boring because no action happens. I braid my hair straight, boring hair into a braid and hope to god it looks good. I put on some foundation and some neutral eyeshadow. You may be asking, how do I know what shades they are and if the foundation matches my skin tone, guess what people it's called LABELS! I walk out of the bathroom and jog down the stairs to eat breakfast. I turn the corner and head into the kitchen to see my mom making eggs and my brother sitting at the table.
My brother, Jared, is two years older then me and sees the world in color. He met his girlfriend in his sophomore year in high school. While I'm in my senior year and still see the world through a filter. I mean, I have a boyfriend, but I guess he's not the one that I'll gain the privilege of seeing the world a different way. I don't think I ever will see the world in color.
"Willow, your douchebag boyfriend, Daniel is here."Jared says, breaking my train of thought.
"O-oh, right. Thanks. Love ya mom." I say as I walk out the door and head towards the black BMW that my boyfriend drives. Sounds cliche for a rich prep or jock right? Well I guess, but not when your boyfriend is part of the bad-boy group.  Yeah, I'm dating a bad boy, I have no idea how or why he asked me but he did and I said yes. My best friend,Lacy, says he has raven black hair and blue eyes that could make a girl swoon. I, on the other hand, see black hair and grey eyes. I, ladies and gentlemen, am the only person in my senior class to still see through black and white and have a boyfriend.
"Hey, babe you ready?" Daniel says as I open the car door and throw my stuff in the back.
"Yeah, but after school my brother is picking me up to get my car from the shop so you don't need to wait for me." I say as I mess with the radio. I can sense that he's not telling me something, but then again I haven't told him something either.
