This is how Alex looks, although I might change the picture later, I don't know yet. Here is a new chapter enjoy!!

The doctor released me to go home at about noon. I walked as if I was told I only had a few days to live, my only dream was shattered and I didn't know what would happen. We get in the car and the ride home was dreadful. Once we get on the highway my mom ask,
"Do you guys want anything to eat?" I shake my head no, just wanting to go home and lay in bed. Regardless of my answer my mom turns into a Chick-Fil-A and orders what I normally get(6 piece chicken nuggets with fries). My mom and brother talk in hoarse whispers in the front seat as we pull up to the front window to pay and get the food.  In about two minutes, our food is ready and we are driving back home. I nearly fall a sleep in the backseat, but manage to stay awake for a little bit longer.
My attempt to stays awake failed miserably, I  woke up to my mom shaking my knee. Looking around, I gather my surroundings. I quickly get out of the car and rush to my room before the tears can spill down my cheeks. Not even ten minutes later, Lacey walks through my bed room door nearly giving me a heart attack. Before I could say hi I am locked into a hug that comforts me. I let all the tears and emotions out that I've been holding in since the incident at the hospital.
"There's your favorite ice cream, movie, chocolates, and a stuffed bear down stairs for you." She says with a sympathetic tone in her voice. I look up into her eyes and I start to break down even more. Just me looking into her eyes knowing that she can see the way a sunset looks, or the way the paintings in the museum show feelings through color, makes me feel like I have lost everything.
After about an hour, Lacey had to leave to go to work, but now I'm here watching a black and white film(that should be in color) and eating ice cream. By the time I have finally faced reality and dealt with my problem, I'm going to weigh like 200 pounds. Right when the movie gets to the good part, I hear a knock on my door and then the sound of the door knob turning.
"Hey sweetie, do you think you could come down stairs for a couple of minutes?" My mom asks. I nod and turn off my T.V. before hopping out of bed.
"Oh, and put on some better clothes." I look down and she what my mom says. My shirt has ice cream stains and my shorts are a little too short to be seen in public. I quickly change into a clean tank top and some Nike shorts, before I head to the bathroom and make sure I looked presentable. As I round the stairs, I see my brother coming up and he gives me a look that can only mean the worst, someone is here who obviously isn't really welcomed. The voices start to get louder as I near the bottom step and one sounds likes a guy's. The voice sounds so familiar, but I can't match it to anyone I know. I walk to the kitchen and see my mom sitting with a woman, and what looked liked the woman's son.
"Willow you've meet Mrs. Jaclyn right?" As if right on cue, the lady turns around and I realize who it is, but I didn't know she had a son.
"So, since Jaclyn has to be gone for a while for work, her son will be staying here for a bit in the guest room,"my mom says. Yay, another boy that I have to deal with and try to avoid. Sure, my brother is pretty cool, but he still isn't the best to hang around with(especially if he is grumpy). I start to walk to the cabinets to get a cup when my mom interrupts me and asks if I can show the mystery boy to the guest room.
"Sure, follow me." I say, trying to sound happy, but fail miserably. I sounded like a cheerleader who has to be preppy but hates everything she is doing. I start to walk to the stairs when I hear the name I dread the most: Alex. Why, oh why did it have to be him? I mean like seriously, am I being punished for something I did? First l learn I won't be able to see in color ever again and then he  has to stay here for who knows how long. I turn around to see him facing me and glare at him until he reaches me. He has a sly smirk on his face that I want so badly to slap off right now. I turn around quickly and stomp up the stairs without checking to make sure he is following, once I reach the guest room I open the door and glare at him some more.
"This is the guest room, and if you have a problem, figure it out yourself." I say with anger laced in my voice.
"Well, I guess I wouldn't want to interrupt whatever important stuff you are doing." He says sarcastically as he walks in and sets his stuff down. I start to walk to my bedroom but I stop midway.
"How long are you staying exactly?" I ask wanting to know how long I will have to deal with this self-absorbed jerk.
"Why do you want to know so badly?" He asks staring at my eyes, it's like he is burning a hole through me.
"Because I need to know how long I will be dealing with your pathetic act that you do to woo all the girls at school." I reply, but instantly regret it. His eyes get about ten shades darker then a normal black.
"I'll be here for as long as I want to." He says harshly as he slams the door in my face. Once I'm in the safe sanctuary of my bedroom, I face-plant onto my bed and start screaming. This is going to be the worst time of my life.

Hey guys so I know I haven't updated in a LONG time but school has been hectic with tests and stuff like that. I am quite happy with this update and hope you like it. I will probably post this weekend and get the action going on between these two(by action I mean the hate they share for each other). Keep being awesome.
