14: "You're jealous."

"Alex, we need to talk." I said after class after two weeks of teasing him without giving him any of the passion he wanted.

He had been ignoring me again, and even got me a different tutor again. I guess that was his version of retaliation, but I knew he was on the edge of breaking; I could see it in his eyes. Although, this was the fifth tutor in two weeks because every time the guy came on to me Alex got jealous. Not that he was willing to admit he was jealous, he kept saying that he found someone better to teach me.

Truth be told, I was more than willing to learn from Alex in the ways of sex. He was so masterful; he played my like a professional musician plays his guitar. Even the thought of his hands on my body was enough to make me crave him, and he knew it. I could see the pride swell in his eyes as he watched me bite my lips. I was trying to prevent myself from slamming my lips to his, in a classroom that wouldn't be acceptable.

"What have I told you to call me while in class, Miss Henderson?" He said with a sparkle in his eyes that sent shivers down my spine.

"Mr. Kaynes, may we talk?"

"Sure, Miss Henderson, what is on your mind?"

"I need a recommendation from a teacher for one of my schools. Would you mind filling one out for me?" I asked nonchalantly as his expression changed.

He didn't want me to leave, it was obvious, but he refused to say why. I was pushing him and I knew it, it was my plan, but if he never told me. I was going to have to transfer, I couldn't wait around for Caleb to come back into my life and take over again. I refused to live like that again.

"I can do that."

"Thank you, and in case you get any idea not to, I have my creative writing teacher filling one out. These applications get turned in at the end of the week so make it quick if you can please." I said as I handed him the paper with all the information he needed on it.

"A back up plan, good job Miss Henderson." Alex said sourly as he grimaced at the paper.

"Have something you want to say, Mr. Kaynes?"

"No, I think this is fine. Thank you, oh, but I do have your last test for you. You've improved well, I think the tutors are finally starting to help." Alex said as he handed me the packet of papers. I glanced at the test to see that I had scored an 86. I couldn't believe it, I was so surprised to have actually passed a college math test.

"Kelsey, are you ready to go?" I heard Kenzie call from the hallway.

"Yeah, I'm coming. Bye Mr. Kaynes." I said with a wink as I left the room. I could hear Alex chuckling as I walked out of the room. He would pack up soon and go to his office, but I knew he would check on my tutoring session with Kenzie at least once.

He finally found a tutor that we could both be happy with. He no longer got jealous, and I no longer had to deal with sexual abuse to get Alex to feel something for me. The down side is that I had to find a different way to get him to know that he had feelings for me. I just didn't know how to do that as of right now.

I had actually been trying to figure it out for a few weeks and come up with nothing. Spring break was right around the corner and I was getting annoyed that he was just ignoring me. Stubborn man, I thought as I reached for my water bottle. My fingers touched the empty pocket and I stopped dead.

"Kenzie I forgot my water bottle. I'll meet you in a second." I said as I raced back to the math classroom. I stopped outside to compose myself before I walked in, I guess now would be a good time to tease Alex a little.

I walked in confidently, but had it all drain out the second I saw the scene in front of me. A really attractive girl was leaning over his desk suggestively and while Alex leaned back in his chair to get away he didn't stop her. She walked around his desk and draped her arms around his neck. Alex put his hand on her shoulder to say something, but didn't move her. When she leaned in to kiss him is when I slammed the door against the wall.
