Alex had taken me to get my number changed the second we got home. We couldn't change services since my parents still took care of my phone bill, but we could change the number. I had all my contacts transferred onto the new phone and contacted the only people that I knew wouldn't pass it on to Caleb; I would worry about the rest later.

"Let's see if Caleb can get your number now." Alex groaned as we walked out of the store. His hand slipped into mine as he walked, and he acted like he didn't even realize.

"We will see, but I wouldn't put it passed him. I think this is the seventh number I've had."

"Here, let me give you my number just in case." Alex said as he slide the phone out of my hands and started to add his information.

"Why would I need your number?"

"I just want to make sure that you can get in touch with me if you need to, Kelsey."

"So I can drunk call you?" I asked jokingly.

"You could, I'm sure it would be hilarious for me, but you should really only use it for emergencies."

"You sound like my dad when I got my first phone in middle school." I said with an eye roll.

"I hope you weren't drunk calling people in middle school!"

"I wasn't! I meant the emergencies part!" I said as I playfully slapped his strong shoulder and he bumped me lightly with his hip.

"I know, I just like watching you get flustered." Alex said as his hands caught my face to make me look at him.

"What are you thinking Alex?" I asked. I saw the smile reach his eyes as he leaned in to kiss me. This kiss wasn't like the others, it was slow, loving, and gentle. I felt our bodies press together and felt the passion boil again, making the kiss even better.

"I'm thinking that I have the hottest girlfriend on the face of the planet."

"Aw, you're trying to be romantic like those guys in the movies." I said jokingly as I ran my fingers over the stubble of his growing bread. My finger stopped on a part of his face, near the ear, that wouldn't grow hair no matter how long he let his facial hair grow.

"Is it working?" He asked smoothly.

"I don't think so, but your vans are working wonders." I said with a wink, making him laugh and hug me tight to him.

"Then I guess I will be wearing these more often." He said with a smile.

"That would be hot."

"Hotter than the business casual I pull off everyday?"

"I think you in jeans, vans and a t-shirt is sexy enough." I said honestly as we got into his car and started our trip back to campus.

"Well keep that to yourself, I don't want the whole campus knowing." Alex said, feigning horror.

"They won't I'm good at keeping a secret."

"I know, but your body language isn't. You've been dying to kiss me since you meet me." He said confidently.

"Wrong, when I met you I wanted to get away from you as fast as possible. In fact I think I ran away from you."

"You did, and I followed you to make sure you got home safely."

"Yeah, that was creepy." I said honestly as we came into the familiar territory of campus.

"I don't do that to all girls."

"Oh, that makes me feel special." I said sarcastically.

"I only do it to the pretty ones, you're the first that didn't bite. Although, you did like that idea for drinks."

"Maybe if I was twenty-one, but I'm turning twenty next month."

"So I get to be with you on your twentieth birthday? I will think of somewhere we can go. I want to make you feel special on your birthday!" He said with a large smile pulling onto his lips.

"Don't make a big deal out of it. Plus you won't be able to be seen with me on campus remember?"

"I didn't say we would be on campus. I could take you away from the weekend." Alex stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh god Alex." I scoffed.

"It would be fun, you just watch." Alex said as we pulled up to the courthouse building.

"Alex, what are we doing here?" I asked curiously as he got out of the car.

"Just wait here, I'll be right back." He said with a smile as he ran into the building.

I watched the door slowly shut after Alex went inside and waited for him to come back out. It took such a long time that I was about to go into the building to see what he was doing, but as I unbuckled my seatbelt he came out. He had papers in his hands and a smile on his face as he came back into the car.

"What are these?" I asked as he flung the papers into my lap.

"We are filling for a restraining order. We will fight to make sure he can't come to our school and then you won't have to leave me." He said as his lips touched mine.

"So what do we do?"

"We complete these forms, we can get them done tonight and I can turn them in tomorrow. Then roughly two weeks later there will be a hearing, and we get the restraining order and have to attend a court hearing."

"That sounds like fun." I said sarcastically.

"It may not be fun, but I'll do anything to keep you with me."

"So what do we need other than this form?"

"Pictures, police reports, anything that's going to help your case."

"The only police report is from when I left. Most of the abuse had been emotional and mental." I said sadly.

"But he has also been harassing and stalking you, which the phone company has records of, and we have ye witnesses as well." Alex said to cheer me up and keep the mood positive.

"Is that why you had me ask for those phone records?"

"Yes, and we can go through and highlight all his calls. I know in the last week there have been about ten a day." Alex spat in disgust.

"Do you think this will work?"

"I'm sure once we get all the evidence together that the judge will agree to give you the restraining order."

"I think my parents have a majority of the pictures, and they should be in the police report as well." I said as Alex pulled up to his apartment and led me up the stairs.

"That's great, there's just one more thing." He said as we walked in to the apartment.

"What's that?"

"Will you move in with me?"

"Shouldn't we make sure that I get the restraining order first?"

"I want to spend as much time with you as I can, even if you have to leave me one day. Please Kelsey, what do you say?" Alex asked in a pleading tone. His pupils grew as he silently begged me to say yes.

"I'll put up on the Rebel Yell that I'm sub leasing once we do the restraining order stuff." I promised causing Alex to wrap his arms around me and lift me off the ground.

"Thank you Kelsey!"

"You're welcome Alex!" I said with a laugh as he set me down and looked me in the eyes. I knew that he was about to kiss me by the tinkle in his eyes, but what I didn't know was what he was about to say.

"I love you Kelsey." He said just before his lips slammed to mine. He admitted it, he gave into the passion and finally knew that he was in love with me. The plan had worked and I finally had the man of my dreams, and for a while of my frustration, I finally felt happy again.

And all it took was falling for my math teacher.
