Jade Pov
*Flashback*
Me, My momma, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers had to take turns to talk to my dad through the glass window. My mom picked me up since I was halfway sleep the officer lead my momma to a room where there was a lot of phones and glass windows. My eyes brighten up when I seen my dad. My momma sat down I put my hands on the window .
"Daddy!" I said very happy to see him
I was only 4 I didn't know he was in jail.
"Princess!" said My dad with a grin
"Daddy when are you coming home" I said
"I don't know princess" said My dad
"I miss you daddy" I said
"I miss you too princess" said My dad
I smiled
"Princess why won't you go back into the room with your brothers and sisters " said My momma
"But" I said
"While me and your daddy talk " said My momma
"Okay bye daddy " I said
"Bye princess I love you" said My dad
"Love you too daddy" I said  getting down
I ran out of the room to my sisters and brothers and sat down.
"Do you guys know why we always have to visit daddy?" I said
"Because he's in jail" said My sister Ashanti
She was 10 at the time
"Oh" I said looking down
"Sissy don't be sad" said My brother Deshawntae
He was 5 at the time.
"She should be sad dad is in jail" said My sister Nevaeh
She was 7 at the time.
"Exactly" said My brother Corey
He and Nevaeh are twins.
Our little sweet life was torn down after that visit with my dad.
*Flashback ends*
But that was 11 years ago
I am 15 years old a freshman student . Life is horrible for me right now. My family is struggling with money and all that. My momma she takes crack coaine and always drinking . She started that 10 years ago so we basically taking care of her and who's taking care of us .... my older sister Ashanti she's 25 now . She works at a near by restaurant that's around the block she receives a little money.
"Jade wake up we got stuff to do" I heard
I whined and put the pillow over my face
"Jade I know you heard me get up" said Ashanti
"I'm up" I mumbled
I felt the covers getting pulled off me
"Get up!" said Ashanti
I knew what was gonna happen next so I got up
"Where's Nevaeh" said Ashanti
"At her boyfriends house duhh" I said
"This girl I swear" said Ashanti walking out
Nevaeh she's 18 now a senior student She's a hoe by the way she works as a stripper but nobody knows that but me she pays me to keep my mouth shut
I got off of the bed stretched wiped my eyes and I walked out of me and Nevaehs room.
"That's some bull never get to have nothing!" said Deshawntae walking out of my mommas room.
He's 16 now a sophomore student.
I went back into the room and grab the money off the dresser and walked out
"Whats wrong" I said
"Money is tight around here I need new shoes for football" said Deshawntae
"Here you can use my money I been saving" I said handing it to him
He didnt take it "Jade thats your money" said Deshawntae
Deshawntae is the football star around here . Everybody favors him we not afraid to tell each other that hes our favorite sibling.
"I know but you need it more than I do" I said
"Jade no Ion need it I will just tell coach to lay me off until I can get some shoes" said Deshawntae
"Shawn take it you need it more than I do" I said "Dont put your dreams on hold" I added putting it in his hands
"Are you sure?" said Deshawntae
I nodded
He gave me a quick hug
"Thanks Jade" said Deshawntae running down the hall
I smiled walked down the hall and went to the kitchen
"Hey Cor" I said going to the the fridge
"Wassup" said Corey taking the last bite of his apple
I got the milk out of the fridge and close the fridge
Corey made a shot with the apple he made it
"Score" said Corey proud
Corey he loves to play basketball he's a star. He already got scholarships but doesn't know because hes always in the streets hanging out with the wrong crowd.
"Well I'm bout to head out" said Corey
"Where are you going" I said getting a bowl out of the cabinet
"Out" said Corey
"Where?" I said
"None of yo business " said Corey walking out
I shook my head and pour me some cereal

"You have a hour and a half to be back " said Ashanti
"Okay" I said putting my shoes on
"To make sure where are you and Amaya going" said Ashanti
"To the beach for a swim" I said
"Alright if you not back in a hour and a half Ima let Nevaeh come get you" said Ashanti
"Oh nooo please dont!" I said
"Your time start now " said Ashanti
I ran out the door

"Heyy girly" said Amaya giving me a hug
"Heyy" I said with a smile
"I hope you don't mind my brother tagging along with us" said Ashanti
"Your brother is the one" I said
"Yeah the one that lived in New York with my dad " said Amaya
I nodded "I don't mind at all how old is he again?" I said
"16" said Amaya
I nodded "Okay " I said laying my towel down on the sand
"Where is he" I added
"Swimming" said Amaya laying down on her towel
"Oh ok" I said sitting down on my towel
"Girl guess who texted me today" said Amaya
"Who?!" I said
"Onika bald headed ass" said Amaya
"Eew what she wanted" I said digusted
"Trying to see what I am doing and all that jazz" said Amaya taking a picture
"Sadd" I said
"Fr though" said Amaya "There goes my brother" she added pointing slightly
I looked lawdness he  is so fine and he got abs I turned red
"Whoa slow down there Jade" said Amaya with a laugh
"Ooo hes cute Amaya" I said
"As an brother" said Amaya
I nodded
Her fine brother made his way over here
"June meet my girly Jade" said Amaya
"Wassup" said June
I was to busy admiring his cute self.
"Jadee" said Amaya
I jumped "Oh hey" I said
June chuckled and shook his head
I turned even more red
Amaya elbowed me I looked at her She gave me that look
"Ask him some questions" She mouthed
I nodded "So um June how long you staying out here in Miami" I said
He shrugged his shoulders
"Hes living with us now" said Amaya
"No im not" said June
"Yes you are mom already signed you up for school" said Amaya
June shook his head with no words
"Anyways do you play sports?" I said
"Football" said June
"Oh ok" I said
"You" said June
"No I cheer thats pretty much it" I said
"Are you in something else besides cheer?" said June
"Choir" I said
"Ooo June her voice is amazing" said Amaya jumping in the convo
"Amayaa" I said
"What he needs to know" said Amaya
"No he dont plus he probably got a girlfriend" I said
Amaya looked at June
He nodded
"Who is she?" said Amaya
"Casperina" said June with a laugh
Amaya did a laugh "Boyy thats not a girl" said Amaya
"Yes it is" said June
"Okay let me see her" said Amaya
"She right here next to me" said June
"Ion see her" said Amaya
"Of course you dont" said June
"You so dumb I swear" said Amaya shaking her head
"Well thank you very much I get that alot" said June "If you wanna know more dumb I can be hit my line" he added drying his face off
I giggled
Amaya shook her head even more after a sec she stop
"Well Jade would love your number" said Amaya
I turned red "Uh no" I said
"Uh yea June give it to her" said Amaya
"Nahh" sajd June
"Fine then I will give you her number" said Amaya pulling out her phone
"Mayaa no!" I said
"Her number is 3...." said Amaya reading my number
Of course he was typing it down
I slapped my forehead.
"Girl stop acting like that" said Amaya
"Remember Sergio" I said
Amaya waved off "June is way better than Serg" said Amaya
I sigh and got up "Im taking a swim now" I said just to get out of that subject
"Okay we will be here well June is because im hungry" said Amaya getting up
I did a laugh "You always hungry" I said
"No only when im bored" said Amaya
I did another laugh and started to walk towards the ocean.
