After The Coronation

Mal POV

I opened my my to the morning sun. I sat up on my bed and looked at myself, I was still in my after party coronation dress.

I looked at Evie's side if the room, she wasn't there?
That's weird.
Just then the door to are bathroom opens up.
" oh, hey M, you're awake!"
I yawned.
" Yup, I'm awake, and your up early!" I said.
She smiled.
" You know that I always wake up early!" She sang.
I giggle.
" Well, someone is happy, so what happened, let me guess...Doug?" I asked.
She looked at me, here face slightly pink.
" Maybe....ok yes it was...so yesterday after dancing the night away, Doug asked me to be his girlfriend...and I said yes!" She squealed.
I smiled.
" I'm happy for you E, see you don't need a prince nor do you have to act dumb to get a guy." I said.
She walked over to me and hugged me.
" I know, and thanks for that!" She said.
" Well come on, get out of bed and change." She exclaimed.
I went to the bathroom, took a shower, then changed.

We headed outside to meet up with the boys.
I was a bit nervous because what if they still think were evil.
I shook it off and kept walking.
We sat down at the table and started a conversation.
Not to later after that, Carlos and Jay showed up.
" Hey, what's up?" They asked in unison.
" Nothing much, so are guys tired?" I questioned them.
They nodded.
" I'm really sore from my legs from all that dancing, but it was really fun." Carlos replied.
" We totally got the party started yesterday." Jay reassured.
We laughed at that.
" Hey M, here comes your king in shining armor." Evie joked.
I looked up to see Ben coming towards us.
He is my king in shining armor...
