Dove's POV

Are faces got closer and closer.
Why couldn't I make my self back-up!
I can't kiss him!
Yet I do!
Our faces just inches closer until..........

Until Kathleen ran up to us, making us back away from each other.
" I bet you Sofia! BAM WHAT!" She exclaimed,
Making me smile.
" That's only cause I let you." Sof said walking towards us.
Same excuse like always, when it comes to races.
I smirked.
Which see noticed.
" What?" She asked.
" Same excuse...same excuse." I shook my head.
She laughed.
" Can you blame me? I never got no love."
I stared at her, with my wide eyes.
That was her very known quote back at Auradon prep.
Of course Ben would remember quite well.
" Hehe...ya know...a quote our mother would say a lot....huh Dove?" She said trying to cover it up.
I nodded in agreement.
" Yup!....good old mother, I mean mom!" I exclaimed.
Mother I could no longer say.
Mother is the word I would always use to refer to Maleifcent.
I turned to see Ben eyeing us with a look of wondering wither to trust us or thing his own thought.

I had to say something quickly, but what!!
I noticed Kathleen eyeing some children in the distance with ice cream in there hands.
That's it!!
" Hey! Why don't we go get some ice cream!"
Kathleen jerked her head to my attention.
" Yeah!!!" She exclaimed!
" Sounds good." Sof said.
" Um...sure...why not!" Ben remarked.
I clapped my hands together.
" Well then....let's go get ice cream!! Want to skip with me Kathleen!?" I asked.
She took my hand in her left and Sofia's in her right.
" let's all go skip together!" She laughed.
We turned to Ben.
" What?.....oh yah um....I don't do skipping...you girls go ahead." He stated.
We shrugged and skipped ahead.

Ben's POV

Every time I would get more clues.
Ones that would so indicate that they weren't who they really seemed.
For one Sofia had said " Can you blame me, I never got no love.", I mean one person that would always say that was Evie.
To back that up, not many use that saying...technically I never heard anyone say that except Evie and Sofia.
Consequence.
I don't think so.
Then Dove quickly change mother to mom.
I mean why would she do that?
Unless she knew that mother was a word that was known for her to say alot.
Like Mal, whenever she would talk about Maleifcent she would always use the word mother.
I know many don't use mother very often so that has to be it.
Right?
Well I think so....but I could be wrong....I need more proof to know for sure.

I snapped out of my thoughts.
I saw how happy Dove looked...wow...she sure is something...
Okay stop it Ben!
But come on...
She was a sight to take in....
Okay I better stop, I'm sounding weird!

We reached the ice cream parlor, everything seems calm but of course it didn't take long for fans to notice that Dove and Sofia where there.
Soon enough they were bombarded with people coming up to them to get a pic or/and autograph.

I pulled Kathleen away from the crowd.
" Wow...many people do them." I stated.
Kathleen nodded in agreement.
" Yup!...okay time to talk...you like Dove, I mean it's pretty obvious!" She said.
My cheeks felt warm, I nervously laughed.
" Oh Kath, just keep dreaming."
" No! I know you like her, you are always looking at her like she's a fairy or something!" She remarked.
That hit me, looking at her like she's a fairy! Dove could possibly be a fairy...if she is indeed Mal.
But yet another thing...magic!
Mal was a fairy, she knows spells and her spell book would never be far from her side.
If Dove had magic on her then that would be a obvious clue that she indeed is Mal!!
But how......

Dove's hand waved in front of me.
" Um earth to Ben! You there?" She asked.
I shook my head.
" Yah, sorry...I was just lost in thought."
She bit her lip her eyes with worry.
" Um...what kind of though...if I may ask?"
I hesitated in a answer.
" Ya know, just king stuff."
She slowly nodded.

Her phone vibrated in her bag, she grabbed it and examined the screen.
" Oh well um...it's been fun hanging out with you guys! We should do this again some day! But we have to get going home! So bye!" Dove said, slowly backing away.
" Bye Ben and Kathleen!" Sof exclaimed.
" Bye!" Both Kath and I waved.

Hope too see you together again, whispered in my mind.
