Words From The Heart (Poetry)

Tumbling Waves...

She stares out at the tumbling sea,

watching the blue ocean as it turns white at the crash.

She buries her feet farther,

gathering the warmth of the sand.

The sun is blaring down onto her face,

her blue eyes shining;

the same color as the sea.

It's her escape.

Her blond curls sway in the slight breeze,

as it sends a small chill up her spine.

Couples are walking,

hand in hand.

But the once bright shining sun eventually fades,

as it sings itself to sleep as it disappears over the horizon.

Purples, oranges and yellows;

now illuminutes the sky.
