When my sister was 6 or 7 we lived in the house my grandmother grew up in. My mom and I were in the living room when my sister ran into the living room and asked where our stepfather was. When asked what she was talking about. She said she had seen him walking down the hallway. My mom went to go check the house because he wasn't home. There was no one else in the house. My sister to this day says she saw a tall man walking down the hallway. She said ever since that happened she would see him siting on my bed. My sister told my grandmother and she said that it was her father. She said that he was probably checking in on his house.
