Unreturned Love

Here under the cherry blossom, I stood,
I start to reminisce the memories of you.
How my eyes on yours set,
How we ever first met.

Under the clear blue sky the wind blew,
So cold it gave me the chills as it flew,
However my heart was utterly warm,
For I knew that instant that you were the one.

As our eyes first encountered,
I felt embarrassed as I was flustered,
But your eyes never left mine,
Nor it faltered and so much fine.

Since then, my heart never stopped beating.
Every night I stay awake, about you I'm thinking.
No matter how much effort I make, I can't forget,
The love I held so much for you so much that I regret.

That handsome vivid look on your face mesmerized me,
How should I let this uncontrollable feelings be?
I can't control this very intricateness.
For you are the one I want in this fortress.

Many faces have I seen in a hurl,
But everything to me seems like a huge blur,
You are different and that's what I love,
My heart was yearning you and it's you I want to have.

However, this feelings shall stay forever within my chest.
Bound it strongly and name it by my crest.
I shan't let this feelings flow so easily,
Or I shall loose myself in front of you messily.

This feelings are strong, so much it hurts,
Make another move and it shall soon burst.
The pain I held when I see you with another woman,
I couldn't help but cry and endure it like a man.

As I pass by you, I made a glance,
My heart throbs as it feels it was pierced by a lance.
In your eyes I was nothing but a shadow,
Someone who was behind and who always follows.

I knew I had no choice but to surrender,
Every effort I make shall be uselessly rendered.
But, how mysterious love really is.
It never gave up easily nor it ever ceased.

Nonetheless, a shadow shall always look after you,
As I am now, I will try not to make you blue.
I will always be at your back supporting,
I shall only stay afar, silently loving.

Being a shadow is making me suffer,
It pains me to see you with your lover,
However, I decided to carry a torch for you,
With this love I'm bound to sacrifice everything I do.

Just to stay by your side is what I want,
Nothing else and I won't recklessly rant.
Seeing your beautiful smile is the best thing I wish.
Let me be your strength in times of sorrow, at least.
