Anyway, my name is Alison Darcy. I'm about 14, and going to high school. I'm a band kid, and my director asked me to write down some reasons I joined band for the fifth graders. That got me thinking. Over the years I've kept journals of my middle school years. The directors want reasons, so I've been going through these journals, taking out the pages with the best band memories and compiling them together, into this book.
So, fifth graders, when the time comes, read this, and make your choice as to electives.
