Three days since Ezra left and disappeared.
Three days since we sent him on a supply run on Lothal and never returned.
Three days since we cried a million tears over the fact we sent him on a supply run just because he was annoying the crew.
Three days since heartbreak.
The third day, and I'm searching Ezra's chambers.
It might contain vital information.
How do I know this?
The Force.
I slowly walk over to Ezra's chambers and press the door switch.
The doors slide open.
I walk around, taking in all that is Ezra.
Obviously I don't take in Zeb's half of the room.
He's on the ship and he did not disappear.
I shake the thought out and decide on an idea.
I sit down on a chair and meditate.
I listen to the Force.
I wait.
Then I know.
I get a little container that Ezra apparently uses as some sort of a treasure box.
It's under Zeb's part of the bed.
It's in a holocron shaped box.
I notice crude red writing over it.
"DO NOT OPEN. PROPERTY OF THE 'EMPIRE'. FACE A DEATH SENTENCE IF OPENED. AND WE WILL KNOW IF YOU HAVE OPENED IT OR NOT."
I snicker for the first time in three days.
I try to open the box.
I can't.
Maybe I should use the Force on it, like a holocron?
Probably Ezra couldn't make such a complicated box, but I still try.
Maybe Ezra can make such a complicated box.
I take out the "treasure" from the box.
Couple candies, and a datapad.
I know this is it.
The pad, not the candy.
Then I go out.
"Hera, we've got a chance."

This story is indeed inspired by Notrandomatall 's book Ezra's Force Journal. I (again, sheesh, I rely too much on people's brains!) asked if I could do a similar story, and he/she said sure! You're so nice... Anywho, so I'm going to divide this story by days. And there will always be a song that you can hear along with the chapter.
