Marcus rose from his seat and walked to the other side of the courted round table. Nakatalikod si Jenessy sa gawi nito, nervously touching (almost tugging at) her long hair.

Maririnig ang boses ni Helga sa likod ng camera. " 'No ba yan! Sandali lang ako nalingat!"

She shouted to Jenessy, "Bestie!!! I'm here!"

Lumingon si Jenessy sa gawi ng camera. Bahagyang nanlalaki ang mata nito sa kaba.

Marcus was oblivious to the presence of the zooming in lens.

"Dance with me," he asked Jenessy, nang makatayo na siya sa harap ng dalaga.

Inilahad ni Marcus ang palad nito. He smiled at Jenessy.

Hindi naman makagalaw ang inaaya.

Marcus took Jenessy's hand unto him and helped her stand. He guided her to the dancefloor.

"Let's dance while the music's good," he said.

Ed Sheeran's Tenerife Sea started playing.

Maririnig si Helga sa camerang nakasunod sa galaw nina Marcus at Jenessy. "Oh my God! Oh my God! This is really happening!"

"Mahimatay ka, bestie! My God! Ika-capture ko!!!" bulong niya.

Pinagsalikop ni Marcus ang palad nila ni Jenessy. Pagkatapos ay inilagay nito ang libre pang kamay sa likod ng dalaga. Jenessy gently clung her other hand to his sleeve.

"Ano... awkward ako sumayaw. Baka maapakan kita," halos bulong nito.

Marcus laughed. "It's okay. Matibay yung leather ng sapatos ko."

"E... Deadly yung heels ko."

"It's okay, Jen. Just follow my lead..."

Helga called out to them. Nakatutok ang camera sa magkapares na nagsasayaw. "Picture-an ko lang kayo a. First dance ka ni Jenessy e."

Marcus laughed. "Sige lang, Kulit. Para maraming remembrance."

Kabadong nakatingin si Jenessy sa kanya - sa camera. "Picture talaga yan, bestie? Bakit walang flash?"

Humalakhak siya. "Oo naman! Picture lang to."

"Don't mind me here! Enjoy the moment, aysus!"

Mahigpit ang hapit ni Marcus sa baywang ni Jenessy. Kakaunti ang distansiya sa pagitan ng mga ito. Mahigpit din ang pagkakahawak nito sa palad ng dalaga.

"Bestie, tingin ka naman kay Marcus! Yukong-yuko ka diyan! Wag kang makipagtitigan sa sapatos!" Humalakhak siya.

"She's right. Look at me, Jen," playful na sabi ni Marcus.

Bumulong si Helga. "Tingnan mo? Malandi rin talaga to si MM."

Marahang tumingala si Jenessy kay Marcus hanggang magtagpo ang mata ng mga ito.

May impit na tili ni Helga na maririnig sa camera.

Bumulong siya. "God, humihinga pa kaya si bestie? God, hindi rin ako makahinga."

Jenessy and Marcus danced while looking at each other's eyes. There was only silence between them as they smoothly moved on the dancefloor.

Helga whispered, "God, humihinga pa ba sila pareho?"

"You're beautiful," Marcus told Jenessy.

"Thank you," she answered, her voice almost a whisper. "I like your tux."

"'Yung tux lang?" he asked playfully.

Jenessy laughed. " 'Yung sayaw mo rin."

"Your hands are cold."

" 'Yung sayo rin."

"Quits tayo?"

Marcus laughed. "I think you're going to be my last dance."

"E? Why?"

Marcus just smiled.

The music fade into silence. Tumigil ang dalawa sa paggalaw sa gitna ng madilim na bulwagan - magkahawak pa rin ng kamay. The playful lights of the room danced into their faces as they continued staring at each other.

"You look good in blue," sabi ni Marcus.

"You, too."

They looked at each other more. In silence.

Maingay na ang kasunod na kantang pinatugtog.

Napabulong naman si Helga, "Titigan moment talaga a. Nakaka-bitter."

Lumunok si Marcus bago bitawan ang kamay ni Jenessy.

The camera lens shook as it goes near the two.

"Marcus, akbayan mo naman si Bestie! Last picture!" sabi niya sa dalawa.

"Hala —"

Marcus quickly put his arms around Jenessy and smiled at the camera. "Make it two, Kulit!"

"Bestie! Lapit ka pa nang kaunti para hindi kayo awkward tingnan!"

Dumikit nang bahagya si Jenessy sa katawan ni Marcus.

"Say cheese!"

The recording continued for two more poses, then stopped, and captured two pictures of Jenessy and Marcus together.
