I lead Serena, she was still blindfolded. I really couldn't tell where I was going but I knew I would find it. The trees were everywhere by now, and it was so peaceful.
Then I saw it. I immediately recognized the branch, that tree and that area. "Can we slow down" Serena said. "We're here" I replied pulling off the blindfold. She looked around slowly realizing where we were. I knelt down by her side, looking up into her beautiful eyes. I pulled the ring out of my pocket holding it up to her. "Will you marry me" I said. "Of course" she replied pulling me into her arms.
A feeling of relief waved over me. We had been together for a while now. But as always I was nervous. We stood togther, in the arms of the forest. Together forever.
