When Ms. Gangster meets Mr. Gangster

Chapter 25: --------

Ysabel

I woke up in the middle of the night, crying. I don't know why. Good thing na katabi ko si Nathan. He comforted me until I fell asleep again.

Kinabukasan, I wome up with no one beside me. Where the hell did Nathan go? Tinawag ko ang pangalan niya several times pero wala pa rin.

I decided to look for him.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto ng naka-bra at shorts. Tinamad kasi kong kunin ang tshirt na nasa sahig lang naman.

"Nathan?"

Ni isang anino niya wala akong nakita. Saan kaya ito pumunta? Baka nasa labas. Dun ko na kinuha ang tshirt kaya.

Lumabas na ako at hinanap siya. Wala rin siya sa hallway. Tinawagan ko siya pero hindi niya ito sinasagot. I decided to look for him downstairs.

5th floor

Ting!

Ground Floor

Ting!

Lumabas ako sa elevator at tatawagan na sana siya ng may nahagilap akong isang lalaki na nakatalikod sa akin at isang babae. I looked closer and noticed that the guy's back looks familiar.

Of course it looks familiar! That's Nathan!

Impossible! I walked closer to them and my hunch was right! It is Nathan! I walked towards them and without any second, I pulled Nathan towards me and eyed the woman.

"What are you two talking about?" Sabi ko pero nakatutok pa rin ako sa babae. Walang reaksyon si Nathan, like he is expecting me to interfere with their conversation.

And by the looks of it, the girl is damn  weak.

"Nathan don't be so impolite. Introduce me." I smiled wickedly. I looked at him and he feigned a smile.

"Barbara, this is Ysabel. My girlfriend." I was looking at her the whole time Nathan was speaking and I saw her eyes widened with shock when he said 'girlfriend'.

And of course, plastic mode ako ngayon, I decided to hand out my hand to shake with hers.

"Pleasant to meet you. And you are?"

Ngumiti siya pero alam kong may halong inis ito. Based on the looks on her face, she is somewhat pissed.

"I'm Barbara. Nathan's bestfriend."

Pasalamat ka hindi ko dinala ang baril ko kung hindi papatayin talaga kita.

"Oh, bestfriend." Sabi ko at tumingin kay Nathan. Wala pa din siyang emosyong pinapakita. "Well then, do you mind if I get my boyfriend?"

Nagsmirk ako. Alam kong inis na inis na siya pero let's see if she can hold down her temper.

"No. I don't." Ngumiti lang din siya and I dragged Nathan with me towards the elevator.

In the elevator...

"Ysab--" Magsasalita na sana siya ng pinutol ko ito.

"Stop. I know." Sabi ko ng hindi tumitingin sa kanya. Good thing, kaming dalawa lang ang nandito.

"What do you mean you kn--"

Ting!

Mabilis akong lumabas ng elevator para hindi niya matuloy ang kanyang tanong. Hinabol niya pa rin ako. How persistent.

"Bel, anong sabi mo na al--"

"Sshh." I silenced him. Nandito na kami sa tapat ng room namin ng may marinig akong may nababasag sa loob.
