Chapter 6

After we had finished eating we climbed back into the car and headed to my house. "Hey Mari, I should tell you that I have a brother who came home yesterday I would have mentioned him earlier but as far as I knew he was never coming home" I finally told her "you have a brother? What's his name?"

"Felix, he's a bit, well, not fun and he's ridiculously stubborn" I paused before remembering "and he wants to unmask Ladybug and Chat Noir so we have to be extra careful around him" I added.

"Well it's not the first time someone's tried to unmask us" she giggled. The car stopped and we got out of the car. I opened the front door to find my dad talking to Felix.

I tried to sneak past them "where are you going Adrien?" Felix asked "and who's this?" He added seeing Marinette.

"This is my girlfriend Marinette, and we were going to head upstairs I have a birthday present for her up there but thanks for ruining that surprise" I replied sassily leading Marinette to my room.

I closed the bedroom door and Plagg flew over to my fairly new mini fridge leading Tikki. "Sorry about Felix, he's never approved of, well, anything to do with me"

"Doesn't matter if he doesn't approve of us he's not your dad, speaking of, he's going to keep our identities secret right?" It hadn't occurred to me. "I think so, even if it is only because he knows Felix as much as I do and we both know that he would reveal it publicly"

I hoped I was right. I turned around and picked up a small box from the draw "this is your present by the way" I said handing it to her. She opened the box and her face lit up, it was a necklace with the Chat Noir paw print as the pendant. I had also paid a little extra to have the Ladybug mark in the middle of the largest pad.

As soon as it started getting dark I escorted Marinette back to her house "hope you had an awesome day" I said giving her a hug goodnight.

Once I returned home I entered the same room Felix was in. "So Adrien... I hear Marnette's quite a girl" I suddenly wanted to back up out of the room and pretend I hadn't heard him. "Yeah, she's definitely, one of a kind" I said cautiously.

"You should invite her over tomorrow so I can properly meet my little brothers girl" I sighed in frustration "really Fe, I was born what, ten minutes after you" he knew it irritated me. I went to turn away but saw a red dot.

It moved. I dived over to it. I hadn't realised Felix was in the way. "ADRIEN!" He yelled at me. Without even thinking I answered "FELIX DID YOU SEE THAT RED DOT?" he responded with a sigh "no Adrien I didn't now. get. off"
