Chapter 21

Marinette POV

I knew I had to talk to Alya at school today, especially since she had seen me kiss Chat Noir whilst dating Adrien. Of course she didn't know they were the same person. I rushed to school and just about managed to make it on time for once.

"Alya?" She seemed mad at me "please just let me explain" I practically begged. She continued to ignore me until the bell rang and probably would have continued to do so if I hadn't grabbed her and dragged her to the girls bathrooms.

"Alya, please just let me explain what you saw" I paused "it's not what you think"

"So I didn't see you kissing Chat Noir while you're dating Adrien? How could you do that? Do you know how much you mean to him?" I let her rant for a while and waited for her to notice that I had transformed.

"And did you think about... Ladybug?" She stopped herself mid rant "yes Alya that's what I've been trying to tell you"

She stood still completely gobsmacked. "But... And... You?... How... Why didn't you?" She managed to splutter "spots off" I transformed back "Alya you can't tell anyone okay? Promise me you won't tell"

"Okay okay I promise, but, that doesn't explain why you... Wait a minute... Is Adrien..."

"Yep" I smiled. Alya suddenly had a guilty look on her face "what's wrong, are you keeping something from me?" I asked.

"What... Me... Okay fine... You broke me... I'll tell, I'm not supposed to but if you can trust me with this then I can trust you" she paused "I'm... I'm Volpina" my jaw dropped.

"Hey, Marinette? Hello? Girl you still there?" I had totally froze "you're Volpina? Like the real Volpina? Actually how did I not see that one?" Alya smirked "should we tell Adrien?"

"Uh duh" I answered without even thinking. "But You should come with" I added.
