and you run up
and I tell you to beware the feet
‘cause if you don’t
I’m one black eye away from suspension
but its fifth grade
and soon enough you won’t be my friend
so I’m going to jump and fly
I’m going to be touching the sky before I fall
the second that I hit the ground
I know it will be over
so just let me have the moment
to feel whats its like to fly
cause soon it will be gone
and my happiness too
so let me have my moment
to know you are waiting on my boots to hit the ground
to touch the sky.
to jump off
in a moment of vulnerability
and I am waiting on the landing
to rush up to fast.
you are coming to join me
or perhaps I am falling to reach you
I don’t know which
but I do know that
when it happens
You’ll be waiting,
On my boots to touch the ground
and
I’ll be waiting on you
to realize
that I have touched the sky
and I saw heaven
when we were friends
