Yeah, we are free to make our own decisions. We may have different situations, but in the end, it is us who'll really answer the question "Which is more important?". You should not be afraid to be in a complex situation. Remember, for every problem there's a solution. If the outcome is not good, then let go. Our life would depend on what we choose to do. So think carefully, weigh everything, pick out the most significant for you, and work for it.
