How Malum Met

My eyes roll back
The ceiling fades
I breathe you in
Exalt your flames
Let's lose our minds
Come here to me
We're wasting time
Darling can you hear me?

Heroine my sweetest sin
I can't seem to get enough
Pull me under, wake me up
Feel the rush
Morphine, lover make me numb
Make it so I can't get up
Paper thin 'til you sink in
Could you be my heroine?

Do you feel exposed?
Let your feelings show
Can I taste you, can I replace you?
I need to know
Let's lose our minds
Please stay with me
We're wasting, yeah
We're wasting time
Why don't you believe me?

Heroine my sweetest sin
I can't seem to get enough
Pull me under, wake me up
Feel the rush
Morphine lover make me numb
Make it so I can't get up
Paper thin 'til you sink in
Could you be my heroine?

It starts with the spins
Yeah you got me swimming
I'm falling to pieces and I won't be whole until you let me in
Until you let me in
Until you let me in
Until you let me in oh

Heroine my sweetest sin
I can't seem to get enough
Pull me under, wake me up
Feel the rush
Morphine lover make me numb
Make it so I can't get up
Paper thin 'til you sink in
Could you be my heroine?

My heroine
My heroine
Could you be my heroine?

- Heroin ~ Sleeping With Sirens

-

Calum was a boy.

So was Michael.

Calum was a mess, a wreck, an addict.

Michael was helpful, like a drug. He made people forget, good or bad, he soothed you,

He took away the pain.

However the two were not aware of eachothers existence,

Well, not yet atleast.

-

Calum sat there, staring up into the night sky, taking another puff.

He thought to himself, how did it all go wrong?

He used to be 'normal' he used to be 'happy' he used to be real.

But the slightest addiction transformed man to addict, boy to a broken mess, with no where to go, nothing to do...

No home, no family, no friends,

No love.

His addiction gets worse and worse by each day.

He started of slow, only took it once or twice in a year.

But then it turned to once or twice in a month, which led to it being several times.

Several times a week, a day, and now you couldnt even catch a glimpse of the boy without him smoking away.

But no one understood,

He needed it.

No one understood the pain it took away, and how it made him numb, how it made him forget.

Thats all he wanted, because he had driven everyone he knew from his life,

But the truth is, all he needs is someone, someone to love him so he can love them in return.

Thats all he needed.

But he couldn't get that.

So he just sits there, waiting until the day that he finally injested enough heroin into his system, to make his body and mind give in.

Hes thought about suicide, hes
just never really taken action.

Whats the point..?

When hes dead, he wont be able to be numb. Besides no one would care about his existence if he was dead, but no one does now.

Hes practically already dead.

No one cares.
No one notices.

Hes just a living body with no sanity.

And for the people that did remember him, hes just a sad memory to them...

Just like if a friend or relative of yours died,

You'd remember them, but looking back on the memories of the pair would be depressing.

And you'd have to move on eventually.

And thats what he was.

A sad memory.

-

The next day, the boy actually left his apartment.

But only because he ran out of his heroin supply.

This was a normal routine for him.

He left his apartment occasionally, but only to get more supplies.

But this time it was different.

He was crossing the street when he bumped into a gorgeous boy.

A boy who would change his life forever,

He just didn't know it yet.

Michael politely smiled at him, apologising for not looking where he was going.

And when his eyes met Calums', thats when he saw the hurt and broken boy infront of him.

And he knew exactly what he needed to do.

To help not only the boy, but himself.

And thats what he did.

He helped Calum. And Calum helped him.

He replaced the boys craving for the drug.

He replaced the need for him to be numb.

He replaced his his saddness and his loneliness.

Michael was Calums very own heroin.

I originally had it in my song oneshots book (it was het with no pronouns just he she boy and girl) but I unpublished it lol but this was one of my first works so I wanted it not to waste.. So i changed it to malum and well, Enjoy! But i did say they were rebels who get drunk alot so -> i guess they then turned into a happy rebellious couple who fuck almost everyday.
