The Black Cat

•Chapter Two•

It all started in 1988. Scarlet's mom aka Skylar was 18 years old back then. She was very cheerful and easy-going woman. She had long, wavy and white hair. Her eyes were cyan blue and it seemed like her cold glare could freeze everything. Her snow white wolf ears were always proudly standing up and her tail.. Let's just say that it was really fluffy.

She had some good friends but most of the time she was a lone wolf.

Her hobby was photographer. She really loved taking pictures of nature. Back then she didn't care about anything. She had a peaceful life and no enemies at all.

Most of the time she spent in forests. That was her favorite place. She really enjoyed staying there.

Then one day while she was taking pictures of birds she saw a person staring at her.
It was a tall, dark haired man in a black suit with dark cat ears and tail. When Skylar saw him he came closer to her and took her hand gently.

(Skylar's P.O.V)

"What are yo-" before I could finish my sentence the dark haired man spoke.

"Well hello there my lady," he said and kissed my hand. I felt my face turning red.

"I-..you-... I-I mean who are you? Were you spying on me?!" I said and pulled my hand away from him.

"My name is Matthew. Matthew Goodwin. And no. I wasn't spying on you my lady. I was just walking by and then I saw you."

Why is he calling me like that...?
Mh...okay back to the thing.. "And why should I believe you? How can I know that you're not lying?" I gave him a cold glare.

He smiled and replied: "Because I'm not."

I sighed looked away: "Why are you in the middle of a forest anyways? In a..fancy suit... That's kinda weird you know."

"Hey that's not weird at all! I'm here all the time like this." He continued smirking.

Okay I give up... Maybe he is just a normal guy enjoying his free time in a forest just like me? That would be interesting... Okay let's continue!

"So..do you want anything from me?" I asked and looked at him.

"Actually yes," wait...he said yes?? "I would like to meet up with you once again! What do you say about this?"

Meet up with me once again..? "Uhm...why?" I gave him my confused look.

He just chuckled and whispered in my ear: "Meet me ontop of that small mountain right over there," He pointed at the mountain, "see you tonight." As he finished his sentence he slowly walked away. He turned back to look at me for a second.. I was just standing there watching him walk away. He smiled again and continued walking forward.
I sat down on the ground and stared at the direction he went. Many things went trought my mind.

"I've never seen him in this forest tho.. But it didn't look like he was lying.. Argh this is so confusing!"

"Should I go to that mountain..?"
