•Chapter Ten•

(Scarlet's P.O.V)

"Tch...what do you want?" I stared at the man.

"We know who you are. We've been studying you for two months now. We need answers. How did you become like this? When and why."

"Heh...and you expect me to answer this?" I smirked.

"No we do not. That's why we will end you and explore your body. You've already done enough harm."

"End me huh..? Well that's not happening. You know I can easily kill you all and get out of here right?"

"You don't scare us. We know you can be that creature whenever you want."

"Well you got me there.. So what now?" I sat down "It's getting kinda boring ya know."

"We will keep you there for one day and night. Later we will continue this project." He began heading towards a metal door.
"And remember" he looked at me "there's no way out." After that he left.

"Yeah, sure.." I stood up and looked around. A few seconds later I saw a small camera "so they're watching me... Hmph" I tried to get to the camera but I couldn't because of the chains "great..." I sat down again and groaned.
"I'm guessing we're underground... If I was her I could easily break through these stones... I bet they don't know that.... Or do they?" I mumbled to myself. I layed down and sighed. I knew I'm not able to be her if I don't have any targets. "Why can't they be my targets?! Wait. They.. He kept saying 'we'.. How many there are of them?! I mean I could deal with them but... Ugh... What am I saying..."
I stood up again and tried to break the chains but it all was pointless. There's no way I could break them with nothing. I was stuck.
Then I was just laying there. Without anything I could use. Only with the tiny camera across the room. Then something made me jump up.
Wait! Wait, wait, wait, wait. How did I get here in the first place?! Alex. No one else could do it. Tch... I should've listened to Shiro... He was right. Alex's just using me but.. For what? What in the world have I done to him?! That brat. He will pay for this.
I leaned against a wall. Nothing like this had ever happened to me. Someone actually found out and studied me. They probably didn't know much because I've had been her only five times those past two months.
I had no idea what will happen next. This all was just so confusing. The chance of getting a new target was really low so I didn't count on her.
Wait but.. I have a knife with me! I can cut these chains! Well it's not a usual knife. I couldn't do that if it was.
I slipped my hand under my shirt looking for it but it wasnt there.
They probably took it... Idiots.
I got off my shoe hoping my second knife will be there and well. It was. It wasn't as good as the other one but it's still usefull.
I could finally get out of there. I began cutting the chains trying to make no sounds at all. After a few minutes I was done and finally could move normally. The knife didn't make it tho. Then I broke the camera of course.
"If someone's watching me they probably will notice."
I got closer to the door and then I heard something. Or should I say someone. Multiple people talking.. Yelling... Screaming?
What in the world is that..
I tried to open the door but it was locked.
Of course it is.
I tried breaking it down. I failed first three times. I backed away and ran towards it as fast as I could but right before I got to it, it...opened. I instantly fell down.
I looked up and everything was broken. Doors, tables, computers, pieces of papers laying on the ground and...people. Dead people. Blood.
I stood up and began walking towards another room.

"Oh hey, Scar!" Someone poked me from the back and I instantly turned around and punched them in the face. After a few seconds they fell down I realised it's Shiro.

"OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK SHIRO?!" I yelled at him.

"Hey that hurt ya know?! And that's all I get for saving you?" He chuckled.

"HOW DID YOU FIND ME, HOW?! OMG WHAT HAPPENEDWHATTHEFUCK"

"Omg Scar stop freaking out! Everything is fine! They're dead! See?" He pointed at the corpses and stood up.

"Oh. Oh well. So where are we exacly" I scratched back of my head.

"Inside some random mountain a few miles away from the cave you got knocked out in."

"Wait- how do you know about that?!" I gave him a confused look.

"I followed you and Alex. Like I said I found out what he wanted from you."

"Well then. Thanks, Shiro." I gave him a small smile "maybe you're not such an asshole" I chuckled.

"Wait what? Asshole? Me?! Oh my God why would you ever say something like this about ME?!" At first he seemed really serious but a bit later we brusted out in laughter.

"Well.. Heh...lead the way out of this hole?" I turned around.

"Follow me~" he said in a flirty tone and headed towards another door. I followed him.

"So.. You know about that whole thing with me?"

He nodded.

"Are you.. Like um.. Okay with that?"

"Well. I just know you don't know how to control it and you have to..kill random creatures. I will find out more tho" he continued walking.

"Mhm... Oh and sorry for knocking you out... I really don't know why she did that."

"Meh. That's fine. It wasn't a big deal tho." He stopped for a second and then continued walking.

"So... Wh-"

"Here" He opened a door made of stone "To the freedom!"

I chuckled, walked out of it and he followed me "Oh now I know where we are." I looked around.

"Yeah well... I'll walk you home now." He began walking.

"Mkay~" I followed him.
After like two hours we reached my house. We didn't talk really much on the way.
I thanked him again for saving me and unlocked my door.

"Wait, Scar!" I turned around and looked at him "Can we like.. Hang out later?" He continued.

"Yeah, sure. When?" I asked him.

"Uh... I will text you okay?"

"Mhm." I nodded.

"Well then. See you."

"Yeah.. See ya." I turned around and walked into my house. After I closed the door I walked into my room and jumped into my bed.
"Well what a day to remember.."
I closed my eyes and sighed.

"There still can be more of them... But we'll deal with them."

"...right?"
