What was I doing?
I must had taken a wrong turn or something because I was lost. I'd been, at least trying, to find Rosie but this place seemed a lot bigger and more confusing than I'd known and now I was almost positive that I was indeed, lost.
Darkness enveloped me as silence closed in. I'd never thought that silence would ever be one of my worst enemies until now. I wondered what condition Rosie was in right now. I wondered how badly David had hurt her. I wondered how bad I'd have to hurt him once I got a hold of him.
It was a shame really, because I knew what kind of a person he was when he was actually himself; at least I kind of did. He was sweet and funny and even brave. But he was so dangerous when under control; so capable of doing anything and everything related to evil.
My eyes scanned the area surrounding me until a cracked window sold my vision. I stepped closer. It was the window that the arrow had hit; the one that Ivory had shot. It was only then that my eyes fell to the floor; but they caught no sign of Brandon.
He was gone.
