Her legs crossed listening to the local news the tears trickled down her face. The cool breeze blew in hearing the loud thud.

She stood up slowly as she inhaled sharply. She closed her eyes falling to her knees feeling the sharp pain erupt her body.

"Iris" he yelled

His hands wrapped around her body setting her on the soft surface.

"I didn't want you reading my mind cause it would cause you to much pain"

"What is happening out there this thing" she uttered pointing at the angry creature that screamed in pain

"That is from my world I came to see if you were alright"

"I'm fine" she mumbled

"I need to go you should stay here don't leave your home no matter what please" he begged

Her eyes scanned his face feeling his warm hand against her cheek.

"You need help"

"No I'm fine just please stay here"

She hung her head low shaking her head before turning her face away from him.

"So Superman is going to go save the world again"

He nodded

"I guess so"

They both sat there as the silence consumed them both.

"If I died today what would you do" he muttered

She looked at him feeling more tears trickle down her face.

"I'd die tommrrow then" she uttered

He looked at her with an emotionless face before he kissed her lips she closed her eyes before opening them again seeing nobody there but herself.
