She starred at the page that only had a title and nothing else. The light swung back and forth as her TV turned off and on every few seconds. She groaned throwing the notebook on the floor.

She closed her eyes hearing the TV on talking about the god again. She sat down watching the news reporter talk about the man and multiple people giving opinions on the mam whether he was our enemy or hero.

She stood up and walked in her plain bathroom before stripping down into nothing. The shower cap turned on before she entered and felt the hot water against her body.

Her hands tangled in her brown hair before they sat against the wall. She saw her reflection through the mirror noticing the freckles she had when she was little were gone.

"Mom what are these brown dots on my face" she shouted looking at herself in the mirror

"Brown dots well their freckles" the women uttered

"I don't like them" the girl mumbled turning to face her mother

"Why not?"

"They don't look right on my face"

"I think they do and so does your father"

"Well I hate them" she crossed her arms against her chest

"Iris before you know it they'll be gone and once something is gone you'll realize how much you loved them or how you would have not took in them for granted"

"I suppose" she muttered staring at the brown dots on her cheeks
