Prologue

The story begins long ago, when a horrifying ten-tailed beast terrorized the land of humans. There was no stopping to it; it was destroying everything in its path. But then a man stepped forward and became the beast’s human vessel, sealing it within him. He was the first man to discover the truths of chakra, the one who founded the art of ninjutsu, the creator of the ninja world. He was known as Rikudou Sennin, the Sage of the Six Paths, father of all shinobi.

On his deathbed, the sage fragmented the Ten-Tailed Beast into ten smaller tailed beasts and sealed away the physical remains of the original Ten-Tailed Beast’s body into a stone prison, sending it to the Heavens, thus creating the Moon. Nine of the small beasts ran amuck and spread terror through the Shinobi World. The tenth one, however, conscious of its’ destructive power, stayed away from the world and found home in the Land of Dragons at the foot of Mount Jenga. The Ten-Tailed Dragon’s existence was known to no one except the Sage, and he took the knowledge to his grave.

The Sage of the Six Paths chose his younger son to be his successor, knowing that he didn’t have his older brother’s blood thirst and love for battle. Instead, the younger son considered love to be the true key to peace. The Sage’s choice angered the older brother and made him wage war against his sibling. The conflict continued through their descendants, later known as the feud between the Senju and Uchiha clans.

After a while, after both clans suffered enough casualties, they made peace and so came to be the first Hidden Village, with founders Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara. Hashirama became the First Hokage, leader of the Hidden Leaf Village Konohagakure and military head of the Land of Fire. This angered Madara and he wanted war again. But the Uchihas were tired of fighting and had suffered enough casualties, therefore refusing to follow their leader to battle. So Madara went on his own and faced Hashirama in a one-on-one battle. The site of the battle became known as the Final Valley or the Valley of The End. This was the place where Madara met his end.

In Konohagakure life went on quietly for a few decades, until the Three Shinobi Wars broke out. When the Third War ended, Konohagakure was still in turmoil. Someone liberated the Nine-Tailed Fox Kurama from its host, a woman called Uzumaki Kushina, when she was giving birth to a set of twins. The mysterious liberator let the beast run amuck and destroy the Hidden Village. However, its rampage was stopped by the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, who sacrificed his life sealing Kurama away in one of the host’s newborn babies, while sending the other one away by teleportation.

Pure coincidence made it so that the child appeared at Mt. Jenga. The baby girl was brought up and trained by the overgrown lizards. Every single one of them took a liking in her, even the Ten-Tailed Dragon Kuronuma. When the girl turned 3, he willingly sealed himself within her, becoming her consciousness, her advisor and protector.

The day she turned 16 was her cue to leave the Land of Dragons and return to her birthplace in the Ninja World. The once fragile baby was now turned into a strong young woman with fiery red hair and a temper just as fiery.

And so, at the age of sixteen, the girl wandered the human realm, hoping to come across the Hidden Village of Konoha.
