Looking glass,
Mirror,
Reflection pool,
You have many names.
You bring the beauty out in everyone.
But.
You show how you really are,
To me.
I act flawless.
Confidant.
Beautiful.
Pretty.
Strong.
I show I want
the world
to see.
I fool them
by acting what
I want to look like.
But when I look into you-
You reveal,
My true self.
My ugly side.
All my flaws.
My dark side.
My scars.
Looking glass how you lie to the world.
How you show the truth to me.
You reveal
Everything
Real
About me.
How you laugh
As I stare into
What I really
Do
Look like.
I hide behind this
Image
Of what I want
To look like,
Then you come in,
And show
My dark side.
Looking glass,
Mirror,
Reflection pool,
You have many names.
For me-
The revealer of truth.
Oh looking glass,
You show beauty,
But show,
My ugly.
