Desires of love and wanting
to know
what love feels of arises.
Sudden soft touches of lips
glance the wrists and hands, with cupcake flavored kisses on cheekbones
and hair and mouths.
Warm caresses of big spoon and little spoon on a craving wanting
Understanding the big wants to be little.
Late night baking and early cooking of Dutch sweets to Spanish spices,
all the while pushing dish washing to either or and joke around
while doing it.
Having the acceptance of clothing and hairstyles
Appreciating the fat on the stomach- finding it cherishing.
Buying knee to thigh length socks just to appreciate the extra weight.
There's an occasional nip of teeth on bones and sudden
charges of passion of random sparks.
Letting the forms of sounds blare in rooms with
cuddling all day in the sheets to block reality.
These are the desires of ghosts that haunt the curiosity of wanting to know
what lust feels like.
