Bonjour, princesse~

Chat's P.O.V.

Ladybug has left and now I'm alone. Again.
It's cool, it's all fine. I have plenty of better things to do! Like:

... Visit Marinette!

I jumped from roof to roof searching for her house, when I finally arrived.
I was going to knock in the door- I really was... Buuuuuut,
I ended up coming in through her window

'slip'
Oops...

"Chat!!"

I fell to the floor and scattered a bunch of random papers with designs on them

I smiled nervously and looked up at her

"H-hello, princess!"

"Ugh! Look at what you've done"

"Nice to see you too"

Marinette walked over and picked up a paper that was laying perfectly on my head

She then looked at me and flicked my nose
"Owww...." I groaned as my hand went up to rub it

She sighed and began picking up papers.
I got up after a few seconds and crouched down beside her

"What are you doing?"
She asked as she looked at me with her blue questioning eyes

"Helping you. After all, I did create this mess. I should clean it"

I said with my eyes fixated one the scattered papers, as I picked them up one by one, being careful not to crumple them

She stared at me for a bit, then she looked away and continued picking up papers
Her hair fell in front of her face
"Thank you" she said in a barley audible voice,
I glanced over at her, and between strands of her hair, I could see a faint smile.

It made me smile...

Marinette always made me happy. Even when she was angry at me...
But... There was exceptions. Like when someone hurts her... Or if I hurt her...
Then it makes my heart ache, knowing that she's in pain.

There... All done...

I handed the papers I collected to her and she took them; she got up and walked over to her desk, she place the papers in a drawer and closed it carefully

She then turned around and looked at me, blowing a hair out if her eyesight.

"So... Why exactly did you come her?"

I was about to talk but then I slowly shut my mouth...
Why did I come here?

"No reason, really..."

She raised an eyebrow at me

"I just don't really have anywhere else to go?"
I said- more sounding like a question than a statement

"Heh- what about home?" She said while walking over to her bed, and sitting on the edge

"Okay, sorry- let me rephrase that, I don't have anywhere else I WANT to go"

I got up and sat down next to her
She looked intrigued at what I had said,
She swung her legs over the bed and sat with her legs 'Indian style'. She was turned towards me,

"Why wouldn't you want to go home?"

I laughed slightly and shook my head.. Ahhhh if only she knew..

"My home isn't exactly the most welcoming..."
I say honestly. I'm not going to say much more about it though

She looks at me with a sympathetic look in her eyes

"Isn't a home suppose to be a nice place that you can always run to?"
She asked- sounding confused and sorry for me

"Yeah...." I say silently, kind of sad about it
But then I look at her with a smile

"But that is why I always come here...
A home is a nice place I always run to"

She looks at me and her eyes widen a bit
A small flush comes over her face

Did I say something weird?
That probably came out weird..

Much to my surprise, she smiled at me and messed with my hair,
"Got that right, kitty"

I felt a nice warm feeling come up in me
It was sweet and comforting

"So," she says in a louder more cheerful tone

"What do you want to do?"

I look up and start to think,
"I have no clue haha"

"Well I have a idea. Can you help me with something?"

My ears perk up

"Anything, princess"

She smiled, "I remember you said that you knew Chinese- and well.. Haha, I need to study it- and I was wondering if you could help me!"

I smiled, got off the bed and bowed
"Of course, princess! Anything for you"

She laughed and rolled her eyes
"Alright I have this book to help me study" she got up and off the bed and went over to a shelf and pulled out a big book

"Let's begin" I say as she comes back over to the bed and sets the book down

We read and I help her study till it gets dark out.

We're both laying on our stomachs on the bed, near a lamp, lighting the room and making it possible for us to read the book

Even though I'm just helping her study, I've been having a great time. Hanging out with her is enough to keep me happy. And not gonna lie, it's really cute when she messes up, she puffs out her cheeks and her face gets slightly red because she's getting stressed and mad, I always laugh at it, and she always tells me to shut up.. Haha...

"Oh my god! It's getting late, you should get going, Chat" she says while getting up and shutting the book

"Ah, I guess your right. Time flys..."

She puts the book away and walks towards me,
"Thanks for helping me Chat"

"Anytime"

"Then in that case..."
I laugh and she laughs along

"But seriously, I need help with it. Hah- I suck"

"No you don't, you did good, princess... But I'll still help you"

I say while crawling out her window

"Bye chat, goodnight"

"Bonne nuit, princesse"

And with that,
I left. Going back to the place that is suppose to be a home...
Leaving the place I call home...
