Here is the Interview~
Me: Whats ur name?
MsDreamerGirl84: My name is Rosalyn, my friends call me Osang and hiding in a pseudonym MsDreamerGirl84.
Me: Where are u from?
Rosalyn: I'm from the Philippines.
Me: How old are u?
Rosa: I'm 31 and happily married.
Me: do u like to write?
Rosa: Do I like to write? Yes, I do! I actually wrote a book when I was in high school as a gift to one of my friends. It's all about her and her boyfriend at that time, how they met. I just added some juicy stuff. lol. She loves pocketbook (that's how we call it in the Philippines) and she was happy. Yes, I love writing. It's one of my passion aside from cooking and I'm glad I found Wattpad. I was reluctant to write it in full English at first because I know I suck at grammar, but I want to share it with everyone and so, I made a decision.
Me:what is ur hobbies/like to do?
Rosa: My hobbies? I'm into anything, especially sports. I love basketball, baseball/softball. I used to play softball way back high school. But now, since I found Wattpad, I love to just sit and write all day.
Me: Do u have someone special maybe a boy -smirks-?
Rosa: Special someone? Yes. My husband. I love him to bits, and he supports my writing even if I suck at English grammar. lol
Me: How did u become succesful?
Rosa: How did I become successful? To be honest, I don't know if I considered my works successful, but to answer this question, I didn't really mind how many readers would read my book when I started it. All I was thinking at that time was to write because that's what I want to do, to live in a different world and lost in it. To put this imagination into words and share it to those who are interested. I put all my emotions into it making each word alive. I imagine myself to be either the antagonist of the protagonist. Sometimes, I feel like crazy. While writing it, it's either I was crying, smiling, or laughing. And then, I realized, at the end of the day, the success of the book relies on how many reads you get and the reaction you get from the readers. And then again, I got their attention because my book touches them, made them angry, laugh, smile, and cry.
I hope I'm making sense here. (Sorry, I tend to rambles a lot that sometimes, it doesn't make sense to me.)
Me: Can you give some advise to other writers or readers who wanna write?
Rosa: Advice to the aspiring writers? All I can say is that success doesn't come in one day. It's a step by step process. Some may lucky to get noticed right away, but in my case, it took me a while before my works gained readers. Just keep on writing. Don't let these critics get under your skin. Take it positively. Just keep in mind, you are writing because it's your passion and not to impress. Pour your hearts into it. Get lost in it.
Me: I must say Wise words from a wise person.
Me: Do u have some secrets?
Rosa: A secret? Whatever you read in my books was the opposite me. I never curse in my whole life and I only learned it when I started writing. I'm so fascinated by it. I don't know.
Me: Are you gonna write a new book soon?
Rosa: I actually have eight books on hold, and I'm currently writing Steadfast Love :). Honestly, there's more plot keep on popping in my head like a popcorn machine. My mind never stops working.
Me: Can u tell us a little about ur books?
Rosa: About my books. Obviously, it is full of romance, with a twist, mystery, action, and sometimes comedy and surely, each one has its original plot. I hate a repetitive story or even repetitive words. I made sure, each one has its own identity.
Me: Do u have something u wanna say to ur fans or readers?
Rosa: To my fans and loyal supporters, thank you is not enough to express how grateful I am. You are all behind my success. You are the sole reason why I'm still writing. You were my inspiration, your words were my motivation. And I so love you all!
Me: what kind of person are u?
Rosa: What kind of a person am I? I could be in extrovert if I want to, or introvert. I am very hyper but I could also stay quiet if I want to. I guess all I can say is I'm flexible. I could be both.
Me: What is ur favourite book/serie?
Rosa: My favorite wattpad book is Reign by Jennoula2009 and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
Me: What do you enjoy most in ur life?
Rosa: What do I enjoy most of my life? I love traveling if I'd given a chance and oh, I love shopping! :) :)
Me: -chuckles- same here i love to Travel too if im given the chance.
