Here is the interview.
Me: Whats ur name?
Sonia_R: My name is Anjali Sonia Rambarran but I prefer to go by Sonia
Me: How old are u?
Sonia: I'm seventeen
Me: Where are u from?
Sonia: I'm from the caribbean, I am Trinidadian and living in Trinidad
Do u like to write?
Sonia: I love writing. It's an obsession for the least I should say. Infact, I never liked writing but ever since I began reading Jane Feather novels four years from now, I fell in love. Now, writing to me helps release what I feel and allows me to relax. I love it like I love myself, tehehe
Me: Who is ur wattpad idol?
Sonia: My wattpad idol would most likely be MsDreamerGirl84. I love her work and her style of writing. However, I do love Sweetblunch, SweetDreamer33 and last, Katarina E Tonks, who's writing is different in style and I love it...Those four are the best writers, in my opinion on wattpad.
Me: What is ur dream?
Sonia: My dream...or more like my dreams, tehehe. I actually want to become a project manager so that's my dream to see myself dealing with a variety of projects and being exposed to different environment, as I tend to get bored real quick. And also, as a professional writer...to share my work with the world. I try sticking to those two things since, I dream alot and have the most irritating urge to make them a reality. But all in all, those two are at the top of my list, tehehe
Me: Do u have someone special?
Sonia: I do have someone special, my mom. She's the pillars to my empire. If, by someone special, you meant a boy, then no. I'd stick to the romance novels and fantasize over Mr. Darcy and many others characters..until whenever I meet that someone, tehehe
Me: Can u tell us a little about ur book or books?
Sonia: My books...I'd tell you something. I began writing at the age of fourteen but always kept my work private. Until a friend of mine told me about wattpad and I joined. I only began reading but then given a few thoughts, I began sharing my work. And my books, many may think this is weird, but I give my book a title that I love even though the story doesn't pertain to that title. I write on what I feel...so even though I may have the plot in my head, I would write on what I feel at the moment. But anyways, let me not get carried away...my books, Destined To Love, An Untamed Awakening, His Sweet Torture and His Heart Breaking Love, are are part of the Bachelor Series. I am currently working on Destined To Love which is Book I and it's based on a head strong woman and a beauty no less, Arabella, who has a sad past given that her father passed away. Now she ventures into the world and is cautious upon who she chooses to fall in love with. On the other hand, Stavros, a handsome multi-billionaire who has a mind of his own and tends to be the lone ranger throughout his life. He has his mind set and so does Arabella, but they both have chemistry and so they are a branded complicated given that they are one minute hot and the next, cold. The second book is An Untamed Awakening, which is based on a workaholic criminal lawyer, Ileana, and a multi-billionaire stock broker and accountant, Kristhanos who has his way with women.
Destined To Love, however, will be the book I am focusing on and when it's almost finished. Then I'll post chapters on An Untamed Awakening though there are two chapters up. I also have a cast book where I have the name of the book and a picture of what I imagine or find someone close to the main characters of my story to be. However, I would not mind if my readers imagine the characters otherwise from my perception.
The other two books of the Bachelor Series are on hold for now until I get those two off my chest and then I'll be able to focus on them.
Me: What kind of person are u?
Sonia: I don't really know the answer to this question because I suck at judging myself...if I were to tell you about myself, I would fill an entire book. But many of my close family and friends compare me to Superwoman, Lilly Singh. They say I'm just like her in manner of behaviour and so forth and because I do an Indian accent that sounds exactly like hers. However, if I would describe myself to you in one word, that word would be, versatile.
Me: What made u begin to write?
Sonia: The first thing that popped into my head one day when I was reading in the school's library...yet again another Jane Feather novel, wasthat I want to write a book of how I think, us individuals allow society and their 'new thing' rule us. For instance, if the 'new thing' now is going nude on the street, most people would do that and the impact it has is negative. And I did write a book expressing myself, hopefully, in a few years from now it will be published. So the initiative towards my writing was based on me expressing myself. A few years later, I took the first step in expressing myself through my novels. My writing tends to be based upon me however not all...some of the things I put in my book are based on what my sub-conscious keeps dreaming about or simply because I want to portray the character as such, tehehe
Me: What do u enjoy most in ur life?
Sonia: What do I enjoy most in my life? Well...hmm, I shall start with that I am thankful for life itself. It's a blessing. However, I enjoy...no I love reading, writing, dancing to a variety of genre of music...listening to a variety of genres of music...eating and cooking, I love to cook! As a young girl, I never watched cartoons, I'd always watch Food Network...tehehe. And last, I love experiencing new things and spending time with my family, it brings me a joy I can't explain.
Me: Is there someone who gives u advices?
Sonia: Well I've always gotten tips from persons who know I write but if there's a specific someone who gives me such advice then no, I do the research myself and work from there. Tehehe...
Me: What do u see urself as in the future?
Sonia: In the future, I can see myself a successful author, and hopefully, my work can be stacked on my bookshelves, tehehe. But all in all, I can see myself being me and just doing what I love and what makes me happy. It's like I've always said this since I was a kid, well still am but anyways. It's a personal quote of mine, "Live your life to the fullest and always pursue your dreams".
Sonia: I just wanted to say thank you for this interview and it's been an honour. Enjoy!
Me: -chuckles- no no it was my honour to interview u. I hope u get more succes with ur work.
If there is someone who wanna get interview then just pm me or write to me.
