Me: Whats ur name?
Alyssa: My name is Alyssa but people know me as AerithSage
Me: where are u from?
Alyssa: Quezon City, Philippines
Me: what do u like to do/hobbies?
Alyssa: I like to read a lot of books, watch movies, surf the internet, go on 9gag, and practice some calligraphy.
Me: What is ur dream?
Alyssa: I wish that one of my books would be turned into a movie or an awesome TV series like Game of Thrones. Hahaha.
Me: can u tell me a little about ur books?
Alyssa: Most of my books are Fantasy Romance. First there's the Myths Finding Love series which is based on Greek Mythology. It's a modernized version of it and here, the Greek gods find their fated love. There are 3 completed books in this series so far.
Another series is the Nine Realms series. First book is The King's Slave (already completed) and the sequel is The Heart of a King (ongoing). This is another mythology story but I created it on my own. It's not based on any mythology.
Me: do u enjoy writing?
Alyssa: Definitely! I love it and wish I had more time to do it. Haha
Me: are u gonna write a new book soon? if yes what is it about?
Alyssa: I just posted a new book: The Heart of a King. Hope you guys can check it out!And then probably this May, I am going to start writing the 4th book of the Myths Finding Love series: How to Defy Fate. This is Aidon's story and is a crossover between the Myths Finding Love Series and The Nine Realms Series. I'm so excited to start this one!
Me: how did u come to your success?
Alyssa: Hmm. I guess I wrote because I wanted to. They say it's different when you wrote what was inside your heart rather than writing just to gain popularity or success.I wrote the stories which are my own fantasies. Stuff that I wanted to happen to me. I wrote male characters that I wished were my boyfriends in real life. Haha. And then tried harder to improve every time I write something.
Me: can u give some advise to other writers?
Alyssa: Write what's in your heart. Don't write something just because it's trending or because everyone is writing about it. Chances are, it's trending because there's already one very popular book about it and yours wont be noticed that much. Also, trends come and go.Write because you want to do it or enjoy doing it rather than doing it to become famous.And then don't stop writing. Treasure the few people who read your book at the very start. They are very important and are the most valuable readers.
Me: do u have some secrets -smiles-?
Alyssa: A lot! Haha. But they are secrets for a reason! LOL.
Me: what do u enjoy most in your life?I'd say reading. Haha. I love reading a good book and letting the characters, settings, and emotions take over me for a little while as I read.
Me: do u have someone special in your life?
Alyssa: Yup! I am engaged to the most amazing man in the planet.
Me: what kind of person are you?
Alyssa: Oh man, this question is hard. Hmm. I'm someone who loves to spend time at home to read a good book rather than going out. I love to play games and cook. I love cute and artsy stuff. I love my gadgets. I can't live without internet.I have a dog and I love dogs! Can't imagine my life without my dog who relieves most of my stress. Haha
Me: Is there smething u wanna say to the readers or the fans?
Alyssa: Hi everyone! Thanks for all your support! Thanks for reading my works! Thanks so much for all the votes and lovely comments. For those who also followed me on Radish and bought chapters of my books, I love you guys!I'll have more in store for you in the future. And I promise to strive better with every book!
