"I don't want to go, Jessie." I whined.

"Come on, (y/n). I want to hang out with Cole again." She said.

"But then I'm just going to be third wheeling." I said.

"No you won't. He said he's bringing an old friend who's visiting from Texas, so you can talk to him." She said. She grabbed my arm then pulled me out to her car. She shoved me in and I groaned.

"I don't like you." I said.

"Shut up, you love me." She replied. I rolled my eyes then looked out of the window.

"I swear, Cole's friend better be the god damn cutest guy in the world or I'll hate you forever." I said.

"He's cute, I've seen a picture." She promised.

We arrived at the amusement part we were going to then got out of the car. We saw Cole standing near the entrance so we walked over, then saw the person he was with. Holy balls that boy is fiiiiiiine. I heard Jessie laugh at my shocked expression then she pulled me over to them.

"Cole!" She said. He turned around then smiled at her.

"Hey Jess." He said. They hugged while the other guy and I stood around awkwardly.

"Oh, right, (y/n) this is Dalton, Dalton this is (y/n)." Cole said. I waved awkwardly at him and he blushed slightly.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi." I replied.

"Alright, let's go and have fun." Cole said. He and Jessie walked ahead, leaving me and Dalton behind.

"So, you're here from Texas?" I asked, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, I'm on vacation." He replied.

"Awesome." I said. I looked away and it became awkward again.

"What about you? Do you live here?" He asked.

"Yeah, born and raised." I said.

"Cool." He said. I looked at Jessie and Cole and smiled.

"Do they like each other?" Dalton asked quietly.

"Yeah, they just won't admit it to each other because they're scared." I replied.

"Dude, we gotta set them up." He said. I nodded excitedly then we came up with a plan.

Once we had one, Dalton and I quickly exchanged numbers then nodded at each other.

"Hey Jess, come with me to the bathroom?" I asked.

"Sure." She said. We went over to the bathroom then I went in while Jessie waited outside. I stayed in for a few seconds before managing to sneak out past her. I went around the corner then texted Dalton.

To: Dalton

She's outside the bathroom.

I got a reply a few seconds later.

From: Dalton

Okay, I'll get Cole over there. Where are you?

To: Dalton

Just around the corner from the bathroom.

From: Dalton

Okay, I'll be there soon.

I put my phone away then watched Jessie.

Dalton walked up beside me a few seconds later and smirked.

"This is going to be great." He said. I nodded in agreement then we saw Cole run up to Jessie. They quickly hugged each other and they both looked really worried. I felt Dalton's hand rest on my waist while he leaned farther around the corner. I blushed madly but ignored it.

Jessie and Cole hugged for a while then they both looked up at each other. They started leaning in slowly then they kissed.

"Yes!" Dalton and I yelled. People around us turned to look at us but we ignored them. I looked at Dalton and he grinned.

"We did it!" He said. He held his hand up so I high-fived him. He hugged me after so I hugged him back.

"We make a good team." He said.

"We do." I agreed. I looked up at him then we stared at each other while I felt my heart race.

"We should do it again sometime." He said, sounding kind of nervous. I smiled and nodded.

"I'd love to." I said. He smiled back then we decided to go back to Jessie and Cole. I'm so glad I met Dalton, we're going to be such good friends. Hopefully more.
