Family

People have been asking for a part 2, so here goes.

It's been 2 months since Dalton and I got back together and everything has been amazing between us. He's even moved in with me and Sabrina. It was an easy decision really, those two get along so well, I couldn't say no. I couldn't ask for it any other way.

I woke up in the morning and Dalton wasn't in bed. I put some slippers and sweater on, then left the bedroom. I heard Sabrina in the kitchen so I went in and saw Dalton cooking.

"Morning." I said. I kissed Sabrina's head and she smiled at me.

"Morning, mommy!" She said. I smiled then went over to Dalton.

"Morning, love." He said. I kissed him gently then made myself a coffee.

"I have to go and see MacKenzie today." Dalton said.

"Okay." I replied. "How long will you be out?"

"Not too long, a few hours at most." He said. I nodded then looked at Sabrina.

"I guess it's just you and me today." I said. She smiled then walked over to me and hugged me. I picked her up then we watched Dalton cook.

He finished not long after so we sat down and started eating.

"Daddy, are you and mommy going to get married?" Sabrina asked.

"Oh, uh, hopefully some day. Not yet, we've only been together for a few months but in the future." He replied. He looked at me so I smiled.

"Do you love mommy?" Sabrina asked.

"I do, very much." He replied.

"Mommy, do you love daddy?" She asked. I smiled at her then looked at Dalton.

"Yes, I do." I said. He smiled then kissed me gently.

When we were done breakfast, we cleaned up then Dalton checked his phone.

"I should go now, I'll see you girls later." He said. I nodded then Sabrina ran to him. He picked her up so she hugged him.

"Bye daddy!" She said.

"Bye sweetheart." He replied. I hugged him too and he kissed me quickly. I smiled then he looked at Sabrina.

"Can I have a kiss?" He asked. She nodded then he kissed her. He put her down then we went over to the door.

"I'll call you when I'm on my way home." He said.

"Okay, have fun." I said. He kissed me again before leaving. I shut the door then looked at Sabrina.

"What shall we do, baby?" I asked.

"Can we watch daddy singing?" She asked.

"Sure." I replied. I grabbed my laptop then searched up Dalton's American Idol performances.

After watching Dalton sing for a few hours, my phone started ringing. I checked it and it was Dalton, so I answered it.

"Hey." I said.
"Hey, I'm on my way home." He said.
"Okay." I replied.
"I should be there soon. I gotta go, the lights about to turn green." He said.
"Alright, see you soon." I said.
"Yeah." He replied.

I hung up then looked down at Sabrina.

"Daddy's on his way home." I said. She smiled widely then we waited for him.

Not long after, the front door opened and Dalton walked in.

"Daddy!" Sabrina yelled, running to him.

"Hey sweetie." He said, scooping her into his arms. He kissed me then we went and sat on the couch.

"How was it?" I asked.

"It was awesome. I didn't realize how much I missed him." He replied. I smiled and he smiled back. Sabrina looked up at him happily so he looked at her.

"I love you, daddy." She said. Dalton's eyes lit up then my heart fluttered. She's never said that to him before.

"I love you too, sweetheart." He replied. He looked at me and smiled. My family is beautiful, I couldn't ask for a better one.
