Hello! Its been so long- sorry!
Anyway this chapter is inspired by a new book I'm writing on one of my accounts which involves a lot of brutality and killing. It may be difficult for you as a writer to gauge how extreme to go when writing about graphic scenes of violence but trust me, just go with you gut instinct.
With some stories, it is necessary to have massive gruesome chapters but some with some stories it only seems fitting to have a very sporadic and short mentions of violence and killing.
When writing in graphic detail, try and keep the writing slightly sophisticated and not just plain crude. It can be difficult to picture these violent acts if you've never done them yourself, so either imagine them in your head or (if you're not squeamish or easily scared) watch a horror movie or something like that to get you in the mood. Guys I'm not forcing you to do anything so don't blame me if you get nightmares!
I think fight scenes or torture scenes are so difficult to do, so take time with it and don't force it. Let it come naturally, write it as if your watching it unfold before you.
