I think it's great that basically the whole Internet has accepted "The Battle of Hogwarts'' today as a national holdiay, and there's a moment of silence and all this memorial stuff today. I think it's great so many people love the series so much that a battle happening in a book series set 18 years ago gets a whole day of memorial.
Also today is a good day to cry over the deaths of many characters and you don't need an excuse.
Also a good day to cry over Teddy Lupin for no real reason.
Also an excellent day to be thankful that among those who died, Hagrid was not one of them.
Also a wholly fantastic day to realize that my birthday is, in fact, in six days.
