The was actually the very first Star Wars death I personally ever witnessed. (The Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars movie I ever saw. I was about 9-years-old at the time.) As such, it really upset me, and still does to this day. The Phantom Menace was also the very first Liam Neeson movie I ever saw.
