Kaitlin rose from the sidewalk, holding her head.
"Jeff, stand back, please," I said putting my hand on his chest, pushing him backward.
"If this is what you want," He reminded. I took a knife in hand and started slowly walking down
the sidewalk, towards Kaitlin's house. I couldn't see Kaitlin anymore, which started to freak me
out. I finally made it there, being cautious at every step, maybe not.
"Jeriyan, watch out!" I heard Emily's voice somewhat close by before being stabbed in the back.
Kaitlin suddenly was behind me, snatching the knife out of my hand, using it against me.
"Kaitlin....." I managed to get out falling to the floor. Kaitlin stepped over me as if I was dead and
became the center of me. She turned on the porch light to reveal Emily tied up above a tank of
boiling water.
"Hehe," Kaitlin mischievously chuckled, "I am a descendant of Satan himself, nothing can cross
my path!"
"You....bitch," I stuttered. "Why are you doing this?"
"Stop talking." She rudely remarked. I saw Jeff in the distance and cracked a smile. I didn't want
her to notice my happiness. He picked up Kaitlin and threw her in the boiling water. I watched
her suffer as Jeff untied Emily from the endless ropes that she was tied in, having Tobi finish it
off.
I gave Jeff a big smile. He came over and wrapped his arms around me.
"Jeriyan....." he pushed me to the ground, magically leading us to a king sized bed. Without
saying a word, he removed my clothing and loaded my body with kisses..
My eyes started to fall heavy. Suddenly, I fell unconscious.
Morning 6:00 AM
I was now in my own bed, unlike anything ever happened. I felt kind of sore so I assumed it
actually did. I glanced at my alarm and realized it was time to go to school. I groaned knowing
that it was a Monday and climbed out of bed.

Now I was at school and saw Tyrell walk past.
"Hey!" I yelled in his direction. He looked at me when my face turned bright red.
"Yeah?" he replied.
"Oh, its nothing...." I nervously said as he began to walk away.
"Wait, Tyrell!"
"I gotta go, see ya later Jerry Cherry," he winked at me and I was burning up. Who ever thought
he would call me by my nickname.
"Bye," I mourned quietly walking to my the classroom, well Ms. Gist. She aggravated me, and
everyone did, except Emily. They had some personal relationship or something, it was so
strange. For the past 2 months, she's been terribly disappointed in me. What happened to the old Jeriyan? She would ask. I felt like making a sassy remark, but I kept that to myself, which is
most of the time hard to do. She didn't go nowhere I thought to myself.
"You're a bit late, Jeriyan, but take a seat, please," Ms. Gist said to me. It's always too early for

her. I sat in the back of the classroom, up against the wall, well up against the bookshelf.

"Is Rayshelle absent, has anybody seen her today?" Ms. Gist looked up after taking half of her

attendance.

"Yeah, she's probably watching us," I shouted out.

"Oh, really?" She raised her eyebrow.

"She passed, and she's a Christian so she went to heaven," I said.

"Oh, that's unfortunate."

Ms. Gist began her lesson. I was lost in the world and thought about the naive minds of all of my

classmates. I smirked.
