Chapter 14

A week had gone by since the Victoria incident and I was sick of being on bed rest. Eliana kept me occupied whenever Elijah left the house without her. Since she couldn't understand what death meant but knew about heaven, so we told her that her parents were in heaven and that one day she would be able to see them again. It confused her at first and she would often ask if they were going to come visit her soon or if they no longer loved her. It broke my heart seeing her cry so we looked into her seeing a therapist to help her understand what happened better. 

We bought her a locket and placed a picture of her parents inside, so that she'd remember what they looked like. The first few days after her first session she slept with us in our bed because she was unable to sleep but soon transitioned into her own room that she helped decorate.

While Elijah was at practice we spent the day turning the guest room into a room for a princess.

It wasn't that hard to pull off since we had a lot of help and the twins nursery was practically finished already. Eliana seemed to have a deep fascination with my belly and liked to feel the babies kick. Most of the time I didn't mind but whenever I was tired and trying to take a nap she would try and feel and I would have to tell her that it was time to leave the babies alone so they could sleep. Her sudden attachment to me made Elijah feel a little jealous at times. So she'd give him a big hug and take a selfie with him to make him feel better. Big baby.

Elijah's post did keep the paparazzi out of our hair and I was thankful for that but it didn't stop Victoria or her fans from saying comments about me or my marriage. Most were about my weight and accusing me of trapping Elijah, it wasn't helping that Victoria was pulling a Justin Bieber by posting throwback pictures of her and Elijah.
