Pocahontas couldn't help but feel Haytham's eyes on her after Connor had left. She tried to ignore them as they made their way back on horseback to Boston. They were now just beginning to travel through the terrain of The Frontier. It was a long silence between both Haytham and Pocahontas as they traveled through the Frontier and its paths. Haytham had the need to say something but couldn't bring himself to do it. To him, it seemed personal and a bit rude to ask her what he wanted to. Haytham sighed to himself before he cleared his throat, hoping to get Pocahontas' attention.

"Yes Haytham?"

Pocahontas asked, stealing a glance from him at the side. Before she averted her eyes in front of her and Spirit, her steed. She then proceeded to sigh as she could tell he was hesitating.

"You can ask me anything Haytham. I will not hate you for it. Whatever it is. Even if it's personal."

"Well...Why were you so protective over me when my son faced me? It still does not seem clear to me..."

"Simple. You are my father's friend not only that, but you have people who care about you Haytham. Whether or not you realize it. If you chose to be blind to it, you can be blind to it. Or, you could open your eyes a bit more a see it for yourself. I will never lie to you if you do not believe it..."

Haytham nodded, some of his suspicions confirmed him but her gentle voice pulled him from his thoughts.

"But...If you must know...Your being has already brought me some joy and not only that but you are now my ally. But I also consider you as a friend. Whether it seems strange in such the short time we've know one another, I consider you a friend...Would you mind if we stopped by the village? I need to make sure that the children of the village are behaving with Little Creek in charge."

Haytham listened to her words and couldn't help but be touched by them. He felt something in him jump a bit when she said that he 'brought joy ' to her. He had no idea why but maybe it was because she reminded him a bit of Ziio. But Pocahontas was nothing like Ziio. If anything, yes she was brave and courageous like Ziio. Caring and kind like Ziio. But she did not run from him when she found out that he was a Templar. She trusted him. And that meant more to him than most small trivial things as what they finished a while ago. Or even his job was compatible with her words and her very being. Haytham snapped out of his personal thoughts before he gave a small smile and nodded.

"Yes. We can stop by the village. I actually wish to speak with your father anyways. Let us hurry though. Night will soon be upon us."

Was all he said before they both took off towards her village. Haytham began to lead until Pocahontas caught up. Spirit neighed at Rain and she neighed back before both of the horses took off, racing against one another. Haytham and Pocahontas had smiles on their lips and laughter escaped from their throats. The wind that was racing towards Pocahontas and Haytham cause Haytham's hat to almost fly off, thankfully he pushed it back down tightly on his head as Pocahontas' hood flew off and her ebony colored hair flew in the wind, giving her a more fitting appearance than she already had.

Once they arrived at the village gates, the horses slowed down and trotted through the village, having everyone well notified that Pocahontas and Haytham returned for a short time. Once Pocahontas unmounted the steed, the children tackled her in hugs and their throats filled with laughter and their lips containing smiles. Pocahontas couldn't help but laugh and return the love they gave her. Haytham watched with a small smile as he stood in front of them before offering her a hand to help her up.

Little Creek jogged over to see what all the fuss was about before he tackled her into a hug. And yet again, Pocahontas was on the ground, laughing and hugging him back instead of the children this time.
